Room described as having tea/coffee facilities but only a kettle with no coffee)tea...had to go to shops to buy some...only arrived in room the day before we left...could do with extra pillows in room so you don't have to go asking for some.
We verbleven als gezin van twee volwassenen en één zoon in dit hotel en hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad.
De ligging is absoluut een pluspunt. Het hotel ligt dicht bij de metro, waardoor het een goede uitvalsbasis is om de bezienswaardigheden te ontdekken. Ook met de bus is het hotel vlot bereikbaar. Wij zijn te voet via de avenue naar het historische centrum gewandeld. Een wandeling van een goede 20 minuten.
Onze kamer was ruim. We vonden het vooral fijn dat onze zoon een echt bed had en geen plooibed. Bovendien waren zijn slaapgedeelte en dat van ons toch van elkaar gescheiden, en hadden we elk een eigen televisie. Niet dat we tv hebben gekeken tijdens ons verblijf, maar het was wel een leuke extra. Ook de badkamer was ruim.
Mini koelkast aanwezig op de kamer dus je kan je drinken koelen.
De medewerkers aan het onthaal waren heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Bij ons vertrekt had ik gevraagd om een taxi te bellen om ons naar de luchthaven te brengen.
De taxi naar de luchthaven voor slechts €12,50.
Het is een ideaal hotel voor een kort verblijf waarbij het niet de bedoeling is dat je veel op de hotelkamer vertoeft maar vooral op stap gaat om Lissabon te verkennen.
Er zijn verschillende lichtpunten in de kamer met warm licht. Dat zorgde voor een gezellige sfeer. Door de ligging van onze kamer kwam er helaas weinig natuurlijk licht binnen, waardoor de kamer soms wat benauwd aanvoelde. Een extra lichtje boven de kleerkast zou ook welkom zijn, want de lichtbol boven het slaapgedeelte gaf onvoldoende licht tot aan de kast.
Het grootste minpunt tijdens ons verblijf was echter het geluid. Wij verbleven op de tweede verdieping en konden de metro horen. Daarnaast hoorden we de bewegingen en voetstappen in de kamers boven en naast ons. Ook de kuisploeg was 's morgens vroeg goed hoorbaar tijdens het stofzuigen. Vanuit de kamer ernaast hoorden we eveneens de douche en het doorspoelen van het toilet.
Nog een tip: we kregen een fles water aangeboden bij aanvang van ons verblijf. Misschien elk dag van het verblijf een fles water voorzien.
