Pros:

Stayed here on a coach tour. The rooms were ok with air con which was very welcome in the heat. The food was very poor and breakfast was busy with not enough room to move. One evening we were playing cards and others were in the bar too when a staff member decided to hoover all round us and under our chairs! We got the hint and drank up their over priced drinks and went to bed. Would not stay here again. I don’t think the staff enjoyed their jobs.

Prima lokatie en het ziet er netjes uit

Cons:

Restaurant was inderdaad wat minder. Bediening best bereidwillig maar bier was “op” en later weer niet. Het eten was ok. Kamer aan de kleine kant.

L’hôtel est sympa, et les chambres confortables

Mauvais horaire de petit déjeuner donné à notre arrivée (10h30 au lieu de 9h30, nous sommes arrivés le dimanche après-midi et c’est l’horaire de week-end qui nous a été donné, pas celui du lundi matin). Résultat tout était en train d’être retiré quand nous nous sommes présentés, nous n’avons eu que des restes, et pas le temps de profiter du moment, on nous a installés en terrasse en pleine canicule car la salle climatisée devait être dressée pour le midi. Le petit déjeuner nous a été facturé pleinement.

Awful food for dinner and rude unhelpful restaurant staff

I would give it no stars if the option was there.
We went with a UK coach tour for 4 nights, the food for dinner was diabolical and restaurant staff were rude and unhelpful. No choice for the single option starter which always contained meat, I am part vegetarian as I will eat fish but not meat

The rather unpleasant and downright rude restaurant manager seemed unable to grasp that I don't want a starter with meat but the vegetarian option but wanted the fish for main course as ordered the previous day. As is usual for this kind of place you tick what you want for next days dinner but no starter or desert option unless you requested a vegetarian starter which I had done with the booking.
While waiting for the main course he stuck a piece of paper on the table in front of me with vegetarian written on and I pulled it off and told him I preordered fish, he got angry and said I know what you are and stormed off! So I waited for the serving girl to come past calling anyone for fish and I put my hand up, shortly after someone was walking round all the tables calling vegetarian? unbelievable, even the meat eaters on our table of 9 were not happy with their gruesome offering most days with one day some slimy greasy meat that was apparently Cows lips that non of them finished eating.

Breakfast was equally chaotic and they ran out of English breakfast teabags on the first day but made no effort whatsoever to get some so our courier ended up walking to the nearby village to buy some.
Our room and others had a double bed just 300mm from a roughcast wall so you had to walk sideways to get into bed trying not to scrape yourself on the wall. Who thinks it a good idea for a hotel room to have walls of embedded sharp stones painted over I have no idea.

Staff at reception very friendly, most cleaning ladies friendly and smiled as we went past.

Malgré les quelques remarques, nous reviendrons certainement dans cet établissement !

L'accueil à l'arrivée, peut-être sommes-nous mal tombés ?
Le personnel est sympathique mais il manque sans doute, pour certains, un peu de formation.
La clim dans le restaurant mal réglée, il faisait très chaud, nous n'avons pas pris de dessert et n'y avons pas déjeuné le dernier jour.

Une semaine avant notre séjour, nous avons su qu'il nous fallait séjourner 5 nuits et non 6 : impossible d'avoir la 6ème nuit remboursée. Le fait de réduire le séjour revenait plus cher !!!

Avoid this Hotel if you're in a coach party.
Pros:

This Hotel appears to have a plethora of recent / poor reviews that echo my experience of staying here in July as part of a coach party. Reception Staff were rude about the English at check-in, when I asked where the rooms were located upon arrival the female staff member pointed down to her left at a corridor whilst turning to her colleague saying ' Stupid English '. Being new to Novotel Saclay Paris this was not an unreasonable question but I was made to feel embarrassed by a Novotel Receptionist who I don't believe should be employed in the tourist industry. The evening meals / breakfasts were awful as earlier reviewers mention however, one evening I was cooked a fish which was fine after raising concerns the food with the waiter about the meal I'd been served. On a positive note my room was quiet, clean & cool : Odette from housekeeping was a positive at this Novotel Saclay Paris.
