Excellent budget hotel.
Pros:

It’s close to eateries. Train station is 15 mins walk to the centrum. Parking space availability. Staff were friendly.

ich möchte mich hiermit offiziell über meinen Aufenthalt im ibis Köln Frechen am 10.05.–11.05. beschweren. Leider war die Erfahrung in mehreren Punkten absolut enttäuschend und nicht akzeptabel.

Zunächst war das Zimmer extrem klein und unbequem. Das Badezimmer – sowohl optisch als auch von der Bauweise – erinnerte eher an eine Zugtoilette als an ein Hotelbad. Direkt daneben schlafen zu müssen war sehr unangenehm, ich habe gefühlt ich schlafe im Zug gegenüber Toiletten.

Außerdem gab es nicht einmal einen Föhn im Badezimmer , was ich bei einem Hotel mindestens erwarte.

Besonders ekelhaft war der Zustand des Mülleimers im Zimmer: Es war kein Müllbeutel vorhanden und der Eimer war zudem schmutzig und unhygienisch. Das hinterließ insgesamt einen sehr schlechten Eindruck.

Der schlimmste Punkt war jedoch der Feueralarm am frühen Morgen. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und hatten am nächsten Tag eine etwa vierstündige Rückfahrt vor uns. Deshalb wollten wir ausschlafen, uns erholen und bis zum späten Check-out gegen 12 Uhr schlafen.

Stattdessen wurden wir bereits gegen 6:30 Uhr morgens von einem extrem lauten Alarm geweckt. Der Alarm dauerte über 40 Minuten an. Mein Kind wachte völlig verängstigt auf, fing an zu weinen und hatte Angst wegen des lauten Geräuschs. Später hieß es lediglich, dass wegen Rauch aus einer Mikrowelle der Alarm ausgelöst wurde und man ihn nicht ausschalten konnte.

Dadurch war unsere gesamte Erholung zerstört. Wir konnten nicht mehr schlafen, mussten erschöpft abreisen und das Hotel bereits gegen 9:15 Uhr verlassen, obwohl wir eigentlich noch mehrere Stunden Ruhe gebraucht hätten.

Aufgrund dieser zahlreichen Mängel und der erheblichen Störung unseres Aufenthalts fordere ich eine vollständige Rückerstattung des gezahlten Betrags. Die Erfahrung war insgesamt sehr schlecht und hat unsere Reise unnötig belastet.
