* Maintenance staff was lovely

Cons:

* In the evening, I noticed that the air conditioner in my room was not working. By that point, I had already unpacked my belongings and was studying for a test the following day. I then had to walk to multiple rooms with maintenance staff to find one with a functioning air conditioner. Then I had to pack my belongings and unpack again in the new room. I proposed a solution, the manager said no and provided no alternatives that would not inconvenience me. The manger was not understanding couldn't care less about accommodating me.
* I made a booking online, confirmed I will be arriving on the day. However, reception kept blowing up my phone throughout the day. What was the point of that because I arrived 30 minutes before check in, so what was the point of hassling me all day.
* Instead of calling me 6 times, their focus should have been making sure my room was ready and that the air conditioner was working.
* I found it difficult to use the shower without "flooding" the bathroom. The construction of the shower floor is pathetic.
* The layout of the property makes no sense, specifically the location of the elevators. It's a bloody maze. Why aren't they next to the reception area?

Amazing stay
Pros:

Check-in was seamless, with convenient parking available, and the reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed the spacious apartment, and the air conditioning in the bedroom came in handy especially at night and in the early mornings when Joburg gets chilly.

The courtyard was also a wonderful space to relax with friends, enjoy a drink, soak up the sun, and listen to some music.

The housekeeping staff ensured that the apartment remained neat and clean throughout my stay. They were such lovely ladies and contributed greatly to a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would gladly book here again when visiting Joburg.

Cons:

The only thing I would suggest is adding some room spray or an air freshener to the bathroom, as the ventilation is a little limited.
