Pros:

A great venue for an overnight stay in Plymouth.
Pros:

Given the last minute deal we had the stay was extremely good value for money and would have no complaints at the price point. The view from the restaurant superb.

Cons:

Nothing particularly, although I have a pet hate for showers over a bath. To me they are potentially dangerous ( my wife slipped a few years ago in a hotel bath trying to have a shower causing a nasty head injury. It is a personal preference but I wish hotels would follow Premier inn plus rooms and have large walk in showers. “Ditch the bath”

After a sauna and swim I used the spa facility showers as did my wife rather than a shower above a bath.

Perfect location for a short Stay
Pros:

The location was perfect. Situated on the Hoe and good walking along the coast. For one night the room was perfect , a large room with a tiny bathroom and if any taller and we are not short, our heads would have hit the ceiling but no complaints really, the room was perfect for our stay and everything worked. The receptionist kindly extended our check-out by 1.5 hours , which helped us manage our train journey.

Cons:

The breakfast was very disappointing. The greek yoghurt was claggy and not a good quality and the variety of toppings such as nuts (there weren't any) and seeds (sunflower and pumpkin) quite poor unless you are a blackbird. The fruit was a bowl of mixed fruit, orange segments in another bowl, grapefruit segments, slices of pineapple with skin on and mixed berry compote. Nothing very enticing to make a fruit bowl. some fresh in season berries would be a lovely addition. the fried eggs and poached were rubbery but the other hot food looked good. Coffee from the machine was very bitter. We didn't enjoy the breakfast though it was included in the price. There did not seem to be any a la carte options. There was no information in the room as to where breakfast was located either, we had to go down 5 floors to reception to find out - it is located in the penthouse, which we probably could have found on the QR code on the TV once we had signed up, but this is not very convenient.

Shower from the 1970's
Pros:

Friendly staff, especially Tayla who was terrific.

Cons:

Empty hand soap and shower gel bottles for 2 days even after taking the nozzles off the bottles to prompt house cleaning.
Pathetic dribble of a shower.

Great place for a stopover or longer with fantastic views
Pros:

The size of the room was great and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were excellent. The breakfast choice was great and there was plenty of it. Pool was great too.

Cons:

The cost of the parking. A staggered rate would be better as we arrived late and left early.

Decent place.
Pros:

Perfect location for us. Great views and decent facilities.

Cons:

Filthy windows all over building and hideous cobwebs between the glazing in restaurant. Cold fried eggs at brekki.

Pros:

I didn’t get to stay _ last minute change delayed the journey. But zero flexibility from the hotel. Really disappointed and will now avoid me or my team staying.
