Lisa the cleaner on my floor was beyond helpful and courteous I had a problem with my shower that I’d notified reception but they hadn’t responded, however Lisa had a look and using great ingenuity managed to fix it for me. Thank you Lisa for your kind concern and help during my stay!
location was perfect for our needs
Location, breakfast, views, comfortable beds, large room, good air conditioning.
Small bathroom, tight parking spaces, one lift out of order throughout our stay, difficult to get out of bath after a shower as there's nothing to hold on to.
It was a convenient location and the room was very spacious for three people. The staff at breakfast were very friendly, even during super busy periods.
I’m not sure how housekeeping worked but there were a couple of days when the rooms weren’t made up and we ran out of toilet paper, which hadn’t been replaced when housekeeping had been in.

Location to town & what we needed.
The only thing was when we checked in we were told a different price to what we had booked here but it all got sorted out & was amazing stay.
Room was spacious but bathroom cramped. You had to be a contortionist to get in and out of the bath\shower. Lovely view for breakfast on the penthouse floor but breakfast buffet was not adequately refreshed. Location was excellent with short walk to the Hoe, Barbican and Drake Circus shopping centre.
Breakfast buffet needs to be refreshed more frequently. Gym weights area too congested with equipment. Car park spaces need to be bigger.
Great location. Enjoyed the swimming pool etc. very nice breakfast.
Room was very hot. No A/c just a small fan. Also the shower’s water pressure wasn’t very good.

I love that the hotel is centrally located, making it easy to access all the activities I wanted to do with my kids. It's also very family-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

he staff wouldn't allow my children to swim, even after I explained that I would be sitting by the pool supervising them the entire time. They insisted that I had to be in the pool with them, otherwise they wouldn't be allowed to swim. This was very disappointing and ended up spoiling my children's mood.

Extremely friendly, polite and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Room was very clean. Breakfast was great. A well managed hotel.
Woeful air-conditioning & slightly tired decor. Car park not fit for purpose. Slow lifts with one out of service at one of the busiest times of year. The dated building makes it difficult for the excellent staff to deliver the high quality IHG product.
Love this hotel! The restaurant is great; cocktails, steaks and best view. The pool and spa are a bonus. The room was huge, spotless, and again best views! Love it and we stay often even though we are local. Staff are good as gold, they work hard!
