A place to sleep.
Pros:

It was somewhere to sleep.

Cons:

Old. Dirty. Not well maintained. Cockroaches. And next to an active construction site.(6am every morning but Saturday & Sunday. And our last day at 5am.)

The location being near the marina, great places to eat nearby, close to the Catalina Express so you have a place to stay before getting on the road or a place to stay before going to the rock. Nice breakfast.

Cons:

Due to the construction going on next door to the property we were told we had to pay for parking which we have never had to do when paying for a hotel for the night. How else do you get to your hotel destination for your stay coming from northern Ca if you drive unless you take an uber, taxi, Lyft, etc because you didn’t drive, totally unacceptable. The coffee pot in the room was broken and we didn’t know that until the next morning. I spoke to two people and they didn’t know what to do so said, “well, the breakfast area opens soon so you can get coffee there but I will check with maintenance “. At the same time I told the gentleman, “and your smoke detector has been beeping all night right outside our door “ . He said, I have to call maintenance to fix that. The door to the office was within 7 feet of the smoke alarm and you could hear it from the front desk.

Location was nice and quiet but hotel was old and musty.
Pros:

Breakfast was very minimal and only tried it once.

Cons:

Bathroom was little, mold in grout in shower.

Would stay there again but they are scheduled to be torn down for renovations soon I was told

Marina Inn was my favorite stay on this vacation! I walked out my sliding glass door to the heated pool everyday! Walk to harbor and beach was just minutes and shops and restaurant also! Great location!

Cons:

Didn’t have a microwave in room but front desk heated up my food for me! My room was beside elevator which was noisy at times!

I hope they do something to make improvements if they are going to stay open
Pros:

The property is in a good location although when we were there, many of the restaurants are no longer there due to them upgrading the harbor

Cons:

I heard a lot of talk about the in Marina Inn closing down even if they are closing down they are still running a business and should do a better job of cleaning very short on towels no microwave dingy rooms

We used to enjoy coming here, however it has drastically declined over the last year and half
