Dana Point Marina Inn

Accessible room (which I didnt ask for), shower flooded entire bathroom
and out into the main room. I cleaned with towels 3x. Christina was kind enough
to change my room. I know the property is being redeveloped but people should
be notified of the deferred maintainance. Waffle iron kept breaking down,... replace

A little old fashioned and tired

We had bed bugs, and we told the hotel, and almost 10 days later, we still have no news. My fiancée and I had bites all over, and it looks like they don't want to do anything.

Very dirty, uncomfortable bed. The cabinet drawers were hanging off hinges. Shower was dirty. The floors were filthy. People up stairs were banging and stomping around until 3 am. There was a huge cockroach in the bathroom while I was showering in the morning.

Very poorly maintained. Very run down. Passable room.
Breakfast was sub-par…
Little to no amenities.

Everything is very old - furniture, bathroom, etc. Housekeeping made me walk (very far) from my room to the front desk to get fresh towels. No telephones. Housekeeping only on request. $15 per night to park.

Where to begin? Toenail clippings were everywhere on our back porch. I had to use a broken-off piece of the window blinds that was on the floor, to scrape the toenail clippings off the porch. There was black mold inside the mini fridge, with water leaking onto the floor. We had to keep a towel in front of it. After seeing our room, we actually had left to Walmart to get cleaning and disinfectant supplies. The towel rack in the bathroom is rusted and almost fell off the wall. The bed sheets had black burns on them. The bed smelled musty and felt very worn in. The whole room smelled like a wet basement. There was lots of water damage around the exterior of the building, it looks like this place is long overdue for renovations. It seems like no one had stepped foot into our room in years. We truly thought we may get sick here during our stay but had already spent over $600 on this poor excuse of a hotel room, after Booking.com mistakenly booked our room with someone else. We didn’t have any choice but to try to make the most of this. Stay very far away from this hotel. It needs to be demolished and rebuilt, it’s so old and disgusting.

The room was dirty. There was mold in the bathtub. The room smelled horrible. I wiped the door handles and wiped the door down and the wipe was so dirty. The towels were not fresh and don’t bother trying to get a fresh towels they were, they were never available. Good thing they are demolishing this hotel soon. It is really run down.
