Travelling to Southampton for a cruise, it was the ideal to place to stay after driving two hours
Pros:

Room was adequate, the bar area comfortable where we had a meal, although disappointed in the limited choice, the choice for breakfast was good

A good hotel at the right price.
Pros:

The breakfast was good as were the staff in reception

Cons:

My car hadn’t been valeted overnight and it didn’t have a full tank of diesel. Apart from that it was excellent.

Pros:

Quiet spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and smart TV.

Cons:

The height of the shower head was too low an not adjustable. I am quite tall.

Wouldn't recommend unless it's necessary or for work

The only good thing about this hotel was the location and the ladies from weekday morning shifts( especially ones from breakfast).

Cons:

We've been using Holiday Inn in different locations, but so far , this one was the worst out of all. According to our booking, there was meant to be one large double bed and two sofa beds but when we arrived, sofa beds were not done, only one single compact folding bed was there with two sofas next to it. There was no hairdryer, no mini fridge and the tap in the bathroom was placed in such a way that my child was not able to reach it and wash her hands without us lifting her up( she's seven years old and 3.5 stones ) . There was also a door in the wall that I believe was leading to next room ( from the looks of it ). When we asked hotel manager to remove the compact folding bed because it was causing obstruction in the room, he said it'll be taken the next day, but it didn't happen. It stayed until we checked out. Apart from that there was not side lamps or any other lighting apart from ceiling lights. There was hardly any cleaning done and breakfast selection was very limited,each day there was something missing. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying there, unless it's necessary.
