Not much really, a very old and dated hotel, staff very pleasant and polite.

Cons:

The room I stayed in was not that comfortable and the bathroom wasn't particularly clean.

Pros:

It was all fine

Cons:

Main concern was rat traps placed around the hotel which had dead/decomposing rats in them. Traps obviously had not been checked for a while and live rats not able to enter the traps...

Stay away! Was a strange experience!
Pros:

The property didn’t really have much to like.

Cons:

The pillows were so thin and old, I was in a “refurbished room”, even through the mattress and chair had stains on them. There was a bunch of strangers screaming and shouting all night in the hotel, a guy walking around on crutches telling everyone his wife broke his leg! Breakfast was the worst, coffee tasted out of date and the latte is half water and was undrinkable. I went for a second thinking I got the first batch after it being cleaned as it had a strange taste. No, it was just the taste of the coffee. There is pictures up of the CEO EVERYWHERE, found it a bit strange and very “cult like”, I counted at least three portrayed of the CEO near reception without “founder of the nine group”. The duty manager was lovely at check in, but there was a woman there late at night who did not smile once and zero customer service skills. Seemed really unapproachable, I asked what time breakfast was and the death glare she gave me while she was sorting paper work was deadly. No name badge, I assume it was one of the deputy’s family. In the morning there was a guy rolling tobacco up at the main desk wearing Cookie Monster Pyjama pants. You could not go near the reception without him trying to do the receptionist job. I asked where the breakfast area was, before the woman replied this man marched me to the cafe area, asked where I was from and what I was doing at the hotel. Literally sat me down at my table and was asking me 100 questions! Was so intimidating and unsettling! Everyone asking questions to the receptionist was getting a reply from this man and the staff looked like it was normal but it was an awful experience! I thought this man was homeless. Why is there a guest on your site interacting with customers and the staff seemed okay about it? Also, toilet doors are broken in the men’s, there was urine all over the floors too. All the plates at breakfast still had debris on them, dried pieces of scrambled egg. I tried changing plates but they all seemed the same.

An ok stay
Pros:

Good location, Plenty of parking

Cons:

Room was next to a linen cupboard, washing machine / tumble drier was being used till 2300, kept us awake, had an early start.
Sink tap had no pressure
