Good location but I’d look to book elsewhere next time.
Pros:

Close to Messe Frankfurt

Cons:

Like most hotels, the rates were well over the odds for what you get, but advantage is taken when it is show season. Part of the hotel is across the road in a separate building. Not a problem necessarily but wasn’t expected.
Despite having paid up front, the check out process was ridiculously long and the reception staff didn’t communicate well.

Pros:

Lage ist gut - grundsätzlich hält es, was es verspricht

Cons:

Wenn Klimaanlage drauf steht, ist es jedes mal frustrierend, wenn das Teil dann nicht funktioniert! Leider begegnet man immer häufiger defekten Klimaanlagen in Hotels - und entsprechenden Ausreden. Diese kann und will ich nicht mehr hören, daher gibts von mir in dem Punkt nur noch Daumen nach unten!

Good value for money outside of citycentre
Pros:

The room was small, but nice, with a balcony
The neighbourhood is quiet, but there are options for groceries & cafes around

Cons:

The hotel itself is quite outdated, not a typical Mercure experience
Also lighting in the room was poor (only 3 separate lamps, nothing on the ceiling)

Schlechtes in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit nettem und bemühtem Personal.
Pros:

Die Lage und das Frühstück waren gut. Das Personal sehr nett.

Cons:

Hatten 3 verschiedene Zimmer. Da erste extrem dreckig. War die Suite. Sollte ein Upgrade sein. Danach das Zimmer hatte eine Dusche die sofort übergelaufen ist. Die Lösung für die Nacht waren 4 Handtücher die wir auf den Boden legen sollten. Das dritte Zimmer war ok. Allerdings angebrochene Getränke in der Minibar. Die Stimmung an dem Wochenende war dann allerdings dahin.

Cons:

Leider kann ich die bisherigen Bewertungen für das Hotel nicht nachvollziehen. Dass mal Sachen schiefgehen, kann ich absolut verstehen, leider hat sich das bei unserem Besuch gehäuft.
Vor unserer Ankunft hatte ich die Anzahl der Gäste per E-Mail reduziert, das wurde mir auch so bestätigt. Die Übernachtungssteuer wurde dennoch für die ursprüngliche Personenanzahl berechnet.
Bei unserer Ankunft gab es im Gebäude, in dem wir untergebracht waren, kein Wasser. Erst nach einem Anruf bei der Rezeption wurde das Wasser irgendwann wieder angestellt. Danach wurde eins unserer Zimmer doppelt vergeben und daraufhin die Zimmerkarten gesperrt, an der Rezeption wurde uns gesagt, dass wir noch gar nicht eingecheckt wären. Zusätzlich funktionierten einige der Kühlschränke und Safes nicht, einige der Kaffeetassen auf den Zimmern waren verdreckt und die Matratzen waren durchgelegen. Außerdem wurden die Zimmer, obwohl wir ausdrücklich darum gebeten haben, nicht gereinigt.
Für zwei Nächte ließ sich das aushalten, mehr Nächte möchte ich dort leider nicht verbringen.

Lovely Stay Overall
Pros:

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a small but pleasant balcony. During our visit, the weather was extremely hot, so we really appreciated the air conditioning, which worked perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.

The location was also very convenient, with a tram stop and a supermarket just a short walk away, making it easy to get around and pick up anything we needed. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely choose this hotel again.

Cons:

The only downsides were the pillows, which were too soft for our preference and not very comfortable. Also, one evening we wanted to buy a bottle of water, but the refrigerator where the drinks were kept was locked. We were told it would only be unlocked the following morning, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay.
