A very upsetting experience .

Arrived at 23.00h only to be informed that the reservation had been cancelled and the room was not available because it was late even though the check in was to midnight and that we did not leave a card guarantee, which we did on bookings .com website, the staff blamed bookings .com for the mistake .

Perfect stay after ferry - breakfast brilliant

Best breakfast ever - AMAZING

Cons:

Decor in rooms not to my taste but bed was comfy and it was spotlessly clean - that’s more important !!

La qualité de la literie et le petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Sans climatisation et en période de fin de canicule, il faisait très chaud dans la chambre... Heureusement, l'hôtel avait mis à disposition un ventilateur.

Location was close to the port - 15 min drive
One of the breakfast baguettes seemed fresh.
Secure car park with code access

Cons:

The staff member on arrival ignored me for over 5 minutes before acknowledging me & checking me & my family in.
The room was extremely hot with no air conditioning. Also looked dirty & dingy especially by the boor handles and light switches, the top bunk bed wasn’t made up and had hard metal bars at each end which made it unsuitable for a small child.
The breakfast was extremely disappointing, the fruit salad was brown, there were flies on the fresh meat & cheese. The Madeline’s were extremely dry, the bacon and sausages looked raw and very undercooked.
There were no tea bags for the loose tea just 2 metal infusers which looked like they had been used a lot and not cleaned. My son put an egg in the water bath and took it out 10 minutes later to find it completely raw.
The fruit bowl looked like it had been there for weeks, mouldy bananas and wrinkly apples.
