poorly maintained hotel with no AC
Doors of the room are extremely loud as they're getting closed
Dirty glasses and carpets with clusters of hairs on them
worn out room with holes in the wallpaper, the curtain had a tear, at the reception asking us 15 GBP fee for a little fridge in the room which should be a standard for a 4 star hotel.
The overall experience was uncomfortable and far below expectations.

No aircon anywhere in the hotel, stiflingly hot room, it was like trying to sleep in a sauna.

Great stay
Pros:

Second time staying at Hampshire Court Hotel & Spa, and once again it was a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, always willing to help, and consistently provide outstanding service.

A special mention goes to the French-speaking member of staff in the breakfast area, who has been exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always greets guests with a warm smile. Their friendliness truly made each morning even more enjoyable. Thank you for another great stay!

Good and bad points
Pros:

Well proportioned bedrooms with air conditioning. Pool clean and decent size. Staff polite and helpful.

Cons:

Pillows terrible. Very lumpy. Asked for another one and exactly the same. Restaurant looked like a canteen and food a bit pricey.
