Pros:

The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the young lad on reception and Arthur from maintenance. The outside area by the bar is very relaxing.

Cons:

The air conditioning unit couldn't cope with the extreme heat and poured out water, which I spent time mopping up on the wall and carpet.
The food is very overpriced for the quality in the main restaurant.

The gym, decent equipment and air conditioning

Cons:

The hotel does not have air conditioning if all rooms. To get a room with air conditioning you had to book Superior King or Deluxe Double, we checked in on a Sunday for 6 nights for business and booked a Superior King with breakfast.

There was a heat wave with daytime temperatures from 35C to 39C, we were given a smaller room without air conditioning. Went back to reception and explained what we booked. We ended up with a Deluxe Double as all the Superior rooms were taken. Reception said our booking did not include breakfast, so we had it added when we checked in. Every morning we went to breakfast we were not on the list and the person checking the list had to call reception.

The lack of air conditioning included the dining room where it was too hot to eat dinner there.

The two indoor pools were not air conditioned while the water temperature was in the low 20s. It was not comfortable.

On the Friday before our trip I sent an e-mail to reception asking if they had a recommended taxi service from Heathrow. On Thursday our 5 night I received this e-mail

Pros:

Very nice room with a coffee maker included. Complimentary drinks were a nice touch. Balcony was lovely and cool. The grounds were great. The cot was very comfortable for my baby.

Cons:

The fan wasn’t working very well. It didn’t help much.
