The location
I thought the cleanliness of the leisure facilities could be better. I found the changing rooms dirty and the leisure facility where the pool is in need of updating and cleaning properly.

Reception and Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was very nice too and the overall look of the hotel: modern and polished. Location was great too.
As a 4* hotel if you don’t get the sleeping aspect right then I don’t know why you re in the business. My pillow case was dirty or stained; luckily I bring my own pillow covers and I used those. Next, they weren’t very helpful when I asked them about parking before checkin so I had to pay a lot for parking somewhere else and then pay for the parking at the hotel too as the staff replied too late. The lifts were out of order so we had to take the stairs which was a very smelly place. There was noise from the neighbouring rooms and I know you cannot control how people act and how loud they talk but just saying as someone who loves a quite place. Lastly, the swimming pool water must have had too much chlorine in it as my daughter d nose and lips were affected by it; they were irritated and dry.
Amazing location - 2 minutes walk from the Royal Theatre, cinema, arcades etc. There really isn't a better locaton and the price is really good for what is provided. The staff are also exceptional, with Gemma handling a few issues I had efficiently and in a very friendly manner. This is my stop when I want to stay in Nottingham and I would recommend to anyone else too!
The only issue I had was that the pool and jacuzzi were temporarily out of order.
