Pros:

Great hotel, with friendly staff, breakfast was really good. Nice rooms and comfortable bed. Has a lobely pool and great location for the Hydro or SEC. We had a fabulous stay. Thank you.

Pros:

The hotel has a high standard with good restaurant and swimming pool. The location is ideal for the exhibition centre and science park. Easily reached 5min by train and good value compared with a city centre hotel.

Cons:

It was hot weather and the room was stuffy, the air conditioner just appeared to be a noisy fan with no cooling effect.

The hotel did not live up to expectations and we were disappointed.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent.
The air conditioning was effective.

Cons:

The leisure facilities were not available for the majority of our stay. This was done at very short notice and we were only informed of the unavailability of the leisure facilities on Saturday and Sunday when we checked in on Friday. We could see on Saturday that the leisure facilities were being decorated, perhaps in advance of the start of the Commonwealth Games. The higher price we paid for our stay would have partly been due to having these leisure facilities.

We stayed Friday until Sunday and our room was not properly serviced on Saturday. We were only given one bath towel and one hand towel on Saturday. We only noticed this omission on Sunday morning following a shower. The coffee, tea and milk was not replenished on Saturday.

The lighting in our room was poor and the power sockets were not suitably placed.

Ligging en uitzicht

Cons:

Slechte airco’s op heel veel kamers doen ze het niet. Personeel deed er alles aan om een geschikte kamer te vinden. 1e etage stinkt echt enorm op de kamers

Great place to stay, found a good street food hall nearby, hotel has easy access to the city centre.
Pros:

Ample parking, helpful staff, good view of the Clyde.

Cons:

£16 for 1 lager and 1 g&t a bit steep. Head into the city for better value drinks and food.

Wochenende Glasgow
Pros:

Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, Blick auf den Fluss

Cons:

Wir haben das Hotel gebucht, da es auch einen Wellness Bereich gab. Dieser war aber dieses Wochenende geschlossen. Leider wurden wir erst darüber beim Check-in informiert. Die Zimmer sind dazu sehr angewöhnt. Altes erneuerungsbedürftige Einrichtung

A bit disappointing
Pros:

Breakfast had good choices, it was good that there was a fan and a small fridge in the room. Location was good for us as we were attending SWG so just a short 15 minutes walk.

Cons:

On arrival the check-in experience was a bit of a nightmare, there was no clear order of queuing as people were coming out of the lift, so wasn’t sure who was in a queue and who was just standing about. Once in the room I noticed a long black hair in the bathroom sink (which wasn’t mine). My top sheet had stains on it. When I got into bed in the evening I noticed another long black hair. We both found the beds and pillows uncomfortable. Overall a bit disappointing but it done us for the night, not sure I’d return.
