When booking the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate the reservation will include GBP 32.50 per person per day to spend on food in the restaurant. For the comfort of guests, please be advised that children aged 10 years and under may not dine in The Brasserie after 18:00 each evening. Families with children are welcome to eat in Gershwin’s Bar each evening and to select from either Gershwin’s bar menu or the Brasserie menu.

Please note that the card used for booking will be pre-authorized for GBP 1 prior to arrival. This is applicable for all reservations including guests paying with cash.

The hotel requires at least one guest in each bedroom to be aged 18 years and above and reserves the right to ask guests for valid photo ID. A maximum of two guests are permitted to occupy any one bedroom. Any stay proposed for longer than 28 consecutive nights will automatically terminate after 28 days and will need to be rebooked with the hotel as a new booking.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Pros:

Ruhige Lage aber zum Zentrum nur 10 min.zu Fuß. Am besten die ParkApp für den öffentlichen Parkplatz herunterladen dann Kosten 24h , 7,90BPF . Frühstück so lala . Wer zu spät kommt der wird mit weniger belohnt. Die Bar war ok Preise Standard nicht übertrieben. Wellnessbereich ok ,wenn mal 10 Personen drin sind und sich Lautstark gegen die Geräusche des Whirlpools unterhalten kann man gehen.Die Trockensauna ist ganz gut die Dampfsauna hat einen etwas gewöhnungsbedürftigen Geruch.
Massagen top.Fazit für einen Zwischenstop in Ordnung.

Cons:

Man sollte max.Zimmer im 2.Stock buchen sonst endlose lauferei bis zum Aufzug für die Etagen 3+4

Pros:

The spa facilities. Modern clean, lots of space.

Cons:

The towels into the spa were at the spa reception so I had to go out the changing room into the booking area in my swim suit. A better place for the towels would have been at the exit from changing rooma to spa.

Hot Breakfast was appalling, cold & tough we did not eat it, coffee m/c also broke down then fixed but coffee was undrinkable, reported problems and told to contact booking.com as a third party, we had to purchase breakfast else where.

Great hotel for a stay near to town.
Pros:

Rooms were clean and well appointed. The hotel is beautifully styled. Staff were all excellent and friendly. Lovely meal in Alfred’s. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Enjoyed a dip in the pool and jacuzzi. Great location with an easy and short walk into town. Parking was convenient, £10 for 24hours.

Cons:

Bedroom air con was not working although there were two fans in the room it was quite overwhelming. To add to the heat the towel rail was on full.

Brilliant location with lovely staff.
Pros:

The staff were lovely. My husband enjoyed the pool. The shower was brilliant. The fruit and yogurt for breakfast was lovely. Brilliant location for centre of town.

Cons:

The hairdryer meant that you had to press a button the whole time to make it work which was tricky for me as I have a weak right hand and it took twice as long. Paying for parking when we had paid for our hotel stay. Bland cooked part of breakfast.

Sadly did not meet expectations
Pros:

The reception area and communal areas were all very nice, good furnishings and clean.

A special mention to the breakfast staff who went above and beyond to care for hotel guests.

Cons:

We stayed on level 2 and our room was old and tired, the bathroom door didn’t shut properly, tiles were broken, some lamp fittings had come away from the wall.

We used the spa facilities for the couple of hours, the sun loungers were dirty and underneath was hair and dust.
