When booking the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate the reservation will include GBP 32.50 per person per day to spend on food in the restaurant. For the comfort of guests, please be advised that children aged 10 years and under may not dine in The Brasserie after 18:00 each evening. Families with children are welcome to eat in Gershwin’s Bar each evening and to select from either Gershwin’s bar menu or the Brasserie menu.
Please note that the card used for booking will be pre-authorized for GBP 1 prior to arrival. This is applicable for all reservations including guests paying with cash.
The hotel requires at least one guest in each bedroom to be aged 18 years and above and reserves the right to ask guests for valid photo ID. A maximum of two guests are permitted to occupy any one bedroom. Any stay proposed for longer than 28 consecutive nights will automatically terminate after 28 days and will need to be rebooked with the hotel as a new booking.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

The spa was fantastic! The room was comfortable.
The food at the restaurant was good but overpriced. It was also frustrating that there is limited dinner service times.
The majority of the staff especially the wait staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful.
The fact that they advertise that there is a restaurant and bar menu available until 9:30pm yet refuse service when the chef is busy. If relying on a hotel for food service this is probably not the hotel for you. I was definitely disappointed especially when the duty manager told me I was being rude when I enquired why I couldn’t order off the bar menu an hour and a half before the end of their advertised closed time and was told it was hotel standard and that I would have to order food in via an external provider.
Everything but the parking arrangements
You may have outsourced the parking, but the people using it are still your customers first. The line, " We have nothing to do with it" did not make me happy. The signage on the pillars does not indicate it is prepaid or to be paid when leaving. As a suggestion. tell people this when they check in. It would really neat if you could structure it to pay it on their bill.

There was nothing I didn’t like. But I would have preferred the gym and breakfast to open earlier.

Schone kamer. Ontbijt was goed, kost wel £12 pp. Op loopafstand van het centrum. Parkeren niet gratis. Gratis flessenwater. Goede WiFi.

Staff were nice and room was clean. A good breakfast. SPA facilities on site were good.
When we arrived 20:00 we tried to use the restaurant but was advised that we could not eat there with out a booking even though the restuarant was not full.
Comfortable and well located in easy walking distance of the historic centre of Winchester. Good restaurant with reasonable prices. The Spa was treat.
Air conditioning struggled with the unseasonably warm weather. While a fan was provided, it was still sticky at times.
