Met our expectations
Pros:

Good size room and comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Food in the dining room was excellent but we thought prices were right up there

Cons:

The shower was dreadful. Difficult to get into shower over bath. Tap nozzles were extremely inefficient you either got scalding or cold water and very difficult to get the mix right before getting into the bath and the rose was too high.

Pros:

Fantastic location near to Darling Harbour and the City. Very nice big room with a comfy queen bed and pillows. Plenty of shampoo, lotion etc in the bathroom, hair-dryer and ironing board provided and it was spotlessly clean. Room service was fast and nice food. The bar was very accessible in the hotel and the service was good there. Reception staff we're very helpful and accommodating.. thank you Team Novotel !!

Cons:

The view because of the new building work taking place has hampered the overall outlook but that is not the Hotel's fault.. shame though !

Well worth within the expectation
Pros:

Location close to everything in Sydney.
Staffs were super friendly. We had a little complication while booking due to the fact that it didn't let us book more than 7 rooms at the time but we required 8 rooms.
Staffs serviced us with patience and great customer service mind. I will rate this as a five stars.

Cons:

Lobby is actually on the second story and it was hard for us to transfer luggage since we had multiple of them.

Long weekend break
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice to have happy hours every day, zest coffee and toast was a nice simple option to breakfast.

Cons:

We reported a faulty safe on arrival but bo one came to repair, meaning valuables had to be lo ked in our suitcase each day.

Pros:

Convenient location, comfortable bed and staff attentive.

Cons:

Room was booked through a 3rd party - and no view. I stayed at hotel 15 years ago and the view was spectacular over Darling Harbour and I was hoping for something similar. But my room was on other side of building. I also noticed with the development at Harbourside - alot of the view now would be diminished.

Pros:

All was okay.

Cons:

Shower was in the bathtub which had a very high side. Getting into the tub to have a shower was difficult. There was no
rubber mat on the floor of the tub which made having a shower difficult and dangerous. The hotel needs to provide an anti-slip mat for tubs like that. I forgot to mention that when I checked out.

Great service and location for our Sydney work and play trip.
Pros:

Carlos was extremely helpful and friendly at check in making sure we knew where everything was, how the parking worked and organising our booking for breakfast. Location is great to access Darling Harbour and the work event was minutes away. The taxi rank being right there was very convenient.
