Beautifully refurbished hotel with very friendly professional staff.
Location room was small but clean.
Expensive for what you got. Bar prices high.
Bar staff need some training.
Very modern & clean. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had booked a hotel prior and did not like it and it was not what was advertised, we came straight to The Cura and the receptionist was able to help me immediately. We also loved the addition of the Wimbledon & FIFA screenings.
The location and customer service .
The property needs a bit of renovation plus carpet in the walk way looks dirty .
Great location, excellent staff and beautiful room
Nothing
Excellent location and friendly, helpful staff
I stayed during an intense heatwave in London and my room was very comfortable once I was moved to a room with functioning air conditioning. The young lady in reception was incredibly helpful in assisting me find a better room.
My first room on the top floor had air conditioning that was working but was completely ineffective. This was a big problem during a very hot week.
The good thing is location is very to station and high street hotel rooms are new
Rooms are tiny, very slow lifts, water filters didnt work 80% of the time on either flooor
The Cura has very nice decor having been recently renovated.
It is in a good location with friendly staff.
There was a comfortable bed albeit the rooms are smallish/cosy (which is common in London) but there is a big screen TV.
The lack of a nespresso machine and fridge was a let down.
breakfast limited - continental with a couple of pre-cooked extras
The staff was very accommodating to my vegan diet. We really loved the gym too. The beds were also comfortable and clean.
Our room was very small for a Queen room.
The Cura is a complete rebuild of the old Park grand, I was a regular customer of that hotel but now it is in a different league. Beautiful new bedrooms and super comfy beds. The lounge/restaurant area is so welcoming. The food is exceptional. The Chef takes great pride in what he does.
The hotel feels like home, the staff are so welcoming, more than anywhere of the 52 other similar standard/price ranged hotels I have stayed in London over the past 3 years.
Of course, if you want to stay in a five star hotel and pay accordingly, you may find more luxury, marbled bathrooms and expensive artwork!
But for the vast majority of people who want to stay in a super comfortable 4* hotel, where the staff are incredibly friendly and treat you like guests staying in their home, with warmth and the personal touch, with great brekkie and all day food, for me this is number one. And I look forward to dozens of stays ahead.
