Cool pool, warm cozy bed.
Pros:

Pool water is not heated. It was to cold for me. But my kids still loved it.

Decent accommodations close to UIUC.
Pros:

Decent Holiday Inn close to UIUC. We stayed here when we dropped off our kid for his freshman year. The hotel itself is fairly standard. The rooms are clean and well appointed.
We had a leak in our window which was handled somewhat quickly. The frontdesk brought towels to soak up the leakage and a crew showed up the next day to repair the window. In addition, we decided to check out a day early and the hotel made it very easy for us to do so and refunded the extra day.
The breakfast was pretty standard with normal continental options, scrambled eggs, toast etc.

Overall a good place to stay if you are landing in UIUC for a couple of days.

Jeff is one of the best and nicest and coolest worker I’ve met when I was there and the chef Jessie his French toast was amazing I would definitely recommend coming here again

Pleasant. Staff was great.

It was clean. Not crowded at all.

Cons:

Parking is an issue. Especially if you arrive later in the evening. Have to unload and then move car. Plumbing needs to be updated in rooms.
