Very expensive for a hotel undergoing major external renovation, tired interior only saved by friend

The hotel was covered with scaffolding and workers were climbing up the scaffolding and walking past the window. The hotel decor was very tired looking.

Schitterend authentiek hotel.
Pros:

Zeer mooi hotell . Scandic Kramer Hotel stamt uit ca 1875. Mooie authentieke details. Glas in lood ramen in monumentale trappenhuis. Lift aanwezig. Mooie ruime kamers; een torenkamer hadden wij.
Mooi uitzicht als men kiest voor een kamer op de bovenste etages met uitzicht op centrum/plein.
Goed ontbijt met zeer ruime assortiment. .
Hotel gelegen aan plein (parkeren) met cafeetjes en restaurants op 2 minuten loopafstand en dicht bij station van Malmö C.

Cons:

Onze kamer heeft een trapje van 3 treden naar de badkamer die niet verlicht is. Kan gevaarlijk zijn als men naar de toilet/douche moet s' nachts.
Iets van Glowing in the Dark strips plaatsen op de treden. Geen schone handdoeken en opgemaakte bedden de volgende dag.

Tolle Lage aber das Hotel aber wo waren die 4 Sterne ?
Pros:

Das Hotel befindet sich im Centrum und ist wirklich gut vom Bahnhof zu erreichen. Das Hotel sieht wunderschön aus und das Personal ist total freundlich!

Cons:

Das Hotel wird aktuell von außen saniert und ums Haus wurde ein Gerüst aufgebaut. Innern ist auch ein Renovierungsstau. Der Teppich im Treppenhaus hat viele Löcher und somit auch eine Gefahrenquelle... Im Zimmer konnte ich die Fenster nicht öffnen und auch das Zimmer sollte unbedingt renoviert werden. Ich habe 205 Euro dafür bezahlt und das war dafür einfach zu teuer !
