Margaret mismanaging person above her avoids conversations
Pros:

Management is a joke. The lack of leadership is evident in the actions of all the employees. The most frustrating part is there a passing of the buck and nobody wants to take ownership of their faults.

Superb Service
Pros:

The room and staff were great help! I was able to get a jacket I left behind, as the hotel staff was able to give my jacket to a friend who lives in Goleta to return it to me.

Perfect home away from home!
Pros:

We have stayed before and love the peaceful surroundings and beautifully maintained gardens. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. We have stayed in both a double queen courtyard (with our daughters) and a king courtyard room. Both were great. Breakfast is available. I highly recommend the bagels!

Cons:

The lack of tea selection! There was only green tea or chamomile to choose from in the room and at breakfast.

Pros:

Overall it was a decent stay. Shower just need a little more water pressure then what they have currently. Breakfast was decent good variety of option to choose from. Rooms are clean bed are comfortable.

Surprisingly nice budget stay
Pros:

The staff were wonderful from the start - very helpful and friendly with our requests. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Beddings were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was nice. The landscaping of this hotel was something we didn’t expect! Shower was great with hot water and good water pressure. Pool looked pretty nice but it was rainy that day so we didn’t get to use it.

Cons:

We booked the night off but still, a whopping ~$330 per night stay in the middle of nowhere is a not very good value for a Best Western. The dining room is a bit crumbly and needs more frequent cleaning. It’s also on the smaller side so prepare to fight the crowd if you plan to have breakfast during popular hours. At night it’s a little dark to see the unit numbers.
