Apart from the water outage, drain block etc we enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly, beds were comfortable and breakfast was included.

Cons:

We had no water for half the day and our drain in the shower was blocked. We also had to ask for bath towels & toilet paper which they topped up after they cleaned our room.

Our stay was absolutely amazing would definitely stay again!
Pros:

It was absolutely beautiful , staff were kind and helpful and the food was great too. Kids had a great time too.

Cons:

Only the walk to the room being far from the entrance as we have two kids under 5. So when they were asleep we would have to carry them back to our room. but other than that it was gorgeous

Peaceful, clean, serene, friendly and helpful staff.
Pros:

Love that it was safe for the kids.

Cons:

The breakfast menu could've changed every now & then. Felt like that was the same menu since March when we visited before.
The room AC was low, although we turned it on the highest.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again.
Pros:

Pool area, large rooms, breakfast, location.
The breakfast staff are exceptionally good at serving your guests.

Cons:

For a weeks stay the dinner menu was very limited.
Bathroom tired so harder to keep shower area spotless

Great base for your stay in Apia
Pros:

We were impressed with our stay at Tanoa Tusitala. The location is great, pretty much in the heart of town, an easy walk to all the shops and businesses with great access to the waterfront. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was really nice, fairly large with a balcony overlooking the pool area. Everything was very clean and well-maintained – a comfortable place to hang out. The Wifi internet was fast and the TV had a decent variety of English language programming. The little pool bar/café was good. We had a couple of meals there and enjoyed the food and ambience. The breakfast buffet was good as well with a solid range of hot and cold dishes. There is a small 24/7 gym on site with some basic free weights, a multi-gym, and a few pieces of cardio gear – enough for a basic workout. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Great for location and some staff are fantastic and give 5 star service, unfortunately that’s where it ends
Pros:

Close to town. Food and beverage staff and some front office were welcoming and friendly. Gym was great and equipment upgraded from last time we were there. Room is spacious compared to most in Apia.

Cons:

Housekeeping not cleaning room properly. We had dirty towels in the room for two days as we were swimming in the pool. Smell from the drains of urine. Had to bring own cleaning products to get rid of smell daily. We had same problem last time we stayed. Our phone didn’t work so had to keep going to reception. The breakfast options some days were abysmal. Hit and miss. The service made up for it by food and beverage staff. More options for patrons please.

Pros:

Great facilities especially the pool. The staff were all friendly. The breakfast had everything we needed and dishes always topped up. Good lunch and dinner menu. Our room had everything we needed with nice comfy beds. Overall great stay.

Best spot in Apia
Pros:

Hotel with a resort-feel in the heart of Apia. Tanoa was close to everything we needed for two nights, and it has a great pool to relax by. Our rooms were clean and very spacious. A mix of travellers staying here, from people on holiday, and business travellers, which makes it an all rounder for good value. The breakfast was basic and hot buffet changed daily. We would stay here again.
