Tanoa Tusitala Hotel

Close to town. Food and beverage staff and some front office were welcoming and friendly. Gym was great and equipment upgraded from last time we were there. Room is spacious compared to most in Apia.

Great facilities especially the pool. The staff were all friendly. The breakfast had everything we needed and dishes always topped up. Good lunch and dinner menu. Our room had everything we needed with nice comfy beds. Overall great stay.

Hotel with a resort-feel in the heart of Apia. Tanoa was close to everything we needed for two nights, and it has a great pool to relax by. Our rooms were clean and very spacious. A mix of travellers staying here, from people on holiday, and business travellers, which makes it an all rounder for good value. The breakfast was basic and hot buffet changed daily. We would stay here again.

Handy location within walking distance to Apia. Very relaxed vibe, staff were friendly and helpful. Family friendly, great place for kids.

Service was great staff were friendly and very accommodating.

Der Pool und der Service sind toll!

Stayed here with my Partner and had an amazing time. Location was perfect, Savalalo Market and the bus depot was within walking distance from the hotel as well as other retail stores. Atmosphere was good. Rooms were nice, our shower was a bit of an issue which we did address, just felt that the shower pressure wasn't as strong, We did address the air-con as well which was fixed so thank you for that. Value for money is okay. Housekeeping cleaned our rooms daily. Noise level was alright. We only ever heard loud music/sounds from Lava Hotel but im assuming it was their Fiafia Night. Amenities were a hit and miss. sometimes we didnt have get extra bath towels, toilet paper however loved how they topped us up with the bottled waters. The only downside was the breakfast buffet. Wasn't too keen on eating fried rice or fish in coconut early in the morning, koko alaisa was yum as well as the omelette made fresh. Just a heads up, the fresh fruits do tend to have lil fruit flies hovering, other than that, the staff were very friendly!!

This is my go to accommodation in Apia. The staff are lovely and the room is clean with good aircon.
The breakfast options are good and the overall accommodation is beautiful.

We stayed the a ground floor room with 2 double beds. It was spacious and had a smoking area outside for my partner.

Overall, it's a nice place to stay with a good location and comfortable rooms. However, there were a few things that could be improved. The air conditioning units had visible mould inside and were difficult to operate, so we had to ask staff for assistance to get them working properly.
The bar area lacked atmosphere, with only sports playing on the TV and no background music, which made it feel quite quiet. The buffet breakfast was also fairly average, with limited variety than we expected.
It would also be helpful if the property updated the photos on the website, as they don't accurately reflect what the property looks like now. With a few improvements, this could be an even better place to stay.

Highly recommend this place for families, couples, or groups of friends. It is a clean, safe, and welcoming hotel. The customer service is incredible, the staff always say hello, remember your name/what you old to drink/eat, and what you’ve been up to in the day. Housekeeping was great and daily.

We loved the breakfast buffet! It was fresh and different everyday. The rooms all have balconies/patios and a TV. They look just like the photos. The pool is lovely and the bar atmosphere is nice. The food at the bar is okay, we ate there a few times and the service was great but we quickly got bored of the menu. The fiafia night was fun and we loved the performance. The was very disappointing for the fiafia night and we wish we bought food elsewhere and just watched the entertainment.

It is a great location in central Apia and you can walk around the centre of the city easily.
WiFi is included and normal hotel amenities.

Tanoa exceeded our expectations. Our family of 11 were greeted by the beautiful front staff. The lovely Apollo and bag boys helped us settle into our rooms and then check out without any stress. The reservations manager Rita supported us from NZ with regular emails about our booking and making sure that everything was all set for us. The location was perfect and in central Apia. The double deluxe rooms were super spacious and with three rooms we fit all 11 of us. The gym and services available were perfect fit for Tanoa and our use. Our kids loved the main pool and made use of it every day. The smaller pool was a-bit cold but it was covered for our smaller babies. Breakfast was AMAZING we loved the fresh fruit, the bread selection, eggs and the fresh local food like koko alaisa and supo esi. Our star at breakfast as the beautiful Christina and our lovely host SAULA. Both brought such joy to breakfast and taking the time to chat to use and check in if everything was okay. We also would like to acknowledge the cleaning staff for setting up our two rooms for our niece and mums birthdays we were all blown away by the set ups and are truely thankful. We loved our stay so much we wanted to stay longer but were guttered it was fully booked but that speaks volumes. We cannot wait to come back and stay longer. Thank you again Tanoa for having us.
