I was certainly satisfied with my stay at the Tanoa Hotel. Staff were naturally very helpful.
Pros:

I liked the location of hotel, near the city centre and away from the noisy wild/stray street dogs. Breakfast was plentiful and wide ranging in choice. It was served every day between 6am-1030am allowing ample flexibility before day trips and most airport transfer times. The room was spacious and cupboard space was sufficient to contain all suitcase items. The staff were most friendly and helpful even assisting with dressing injuries and putting on my footwear when I couldn't manage it myself.

Cons:

The floor space around the dining areas had many different surface levels making it tricky to walk around safely and meal tables kept rocking back and forth when eating. Hotel did not have its own shuttle service although they did have an office where transfers and tours could be booked but it was only open at certain times.

Nice and clean, friendly and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast was really good every morning.

Cons:

We liked everything, but there could be more variety with the lunch/ dinner menu.

It’s my second time staying in Le Tanoa , enjoyed my first time more.
Pros:

Location was good, grounds were beautiful and gardens immaculate.
Enjoyed the variety of plants and flowers seen.

Cons:

Rubbish bins were very smelly, the guest dryer not very hot to dry clothes, sometimes housekeeping missed items i.e, mat for the bathroom floor, no water bottles provided.

Overall it was good without the issues.
Pros:

Great location and amazing staff always helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Our stay had a few frustrating issues that impacted our experience. On the first night, the shower drainage was completely blocked and wouldn’t drain, so we had to call maintenance to fix it.

On top of that, for two nights in a row we were locked out of our room because the door lock batteries were dead. This was especially difficult as we were travelling with two young kids, making the situation quite stressful and inconvenient.

After raising these concerns, the staff did try to make it right by providing us with a fruit platter and a $100 tala voucher at the bar, which we appreciated. However, these issues should have been checked and resolved before guests arrive to avoid this kind of disruption.

Enjoyed my stay at Tanoa. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and welcoming!. Great hosts.
Pros:

The room was great. Very clean. Breakfast was good. Love the Koko rice that was served for breakfast and my favourite was the Vaitipolo (Samoan lemonade) served at the bar. Staff were amazing!!. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely would return to Tanoa for my next visit.

Cons:

I love panikeke but the ones served during breakfast tasted very different.
