Great location but not yet a great hotel.
Pros:

Great location, close to everything- in the old town. Perfect. Also a great breakfast, really well catered with excellent service.

Cons:

There is a second part to the hotel with dreadful numbering system. The lift numbers do not correspond to the written instructions in the room, eg it misdirects you to where the breakfast is. Lots were wandering around lost. The front staff had not familiarized themselves with the parking procedures, saying it was a separate company even though it’s part of the hotel with an elevator to it. Front staff need to learn how it works to help guests. This hotel does the big things well but not the small things.

Fint hotell i den klassiska delen av Ålesund.
Pros:

Fint hotell med vidsträckt utsikt för mitt rum och för många andra rum på hotellet.

Cons:

Badrummet hade badkar med en kort glasvägg ovanpå
badkarskanten. Kändes som att det var lätt att halka när man stod och duschade. Dessutom hamnade en hel del vatten på golvet i badrummet. Branta gator upp mot hotellet, som kan vara jobbiga om man reser utan egen bil och utan att ta taxi.
