I stay at this hotel regularly for business. Gary, in particular, at the front desk is outstanding! Always greets you with a smile and takes the time to help with questions or concerns.
Love this hotel! Have stayed here several times and each stay has been great. Very friendly staff…especially Gary at the front desk. He was very helpful and kind.
I stay here several times a year for work. It is always a pleasure to stay here, the hotel is lovely. I’d like to add that Gary at the front desk is always particularly kind and helpful. Already looking forward to my next stay here!
I spent the weekend in Dublin, Ireland at the lovely Intercontinental Dublin by IHG to spend Father's Day with my godson who is there for a summer internship. From the moment I walked into the gorgeous lobby, I was immediately swept into comfort, care and luxury. The team across all roles in the hotel went out of their way to make sure my every request was effortlessly and pleasantly handled. From spacious spaces to friendly conversation about the area, tips to help us make the most out of a three day adventure, the food and the drinks in the bar, we loved every minute of our time there. While it is set a few minutes drive away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin's main attractions, it serves as the perfect escape to relax and recharge for another day of site seeing.
We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. 45 years ago we started our honeymoon in Ireland. To bookend this milestone in our marriage, we started our journey in Ireland. We spent 5 nights at this fine luxury hotel. The hotel is a little distance from Dublin center, but I found it to provide a werene respite from traffic and noise. Dublin center is a short bus ride or taxi ride..
The hotel did not disappoint. It is truly luxurious. Upon arrival, the staff provided us with a warm sincere welcome. Bell staff was friendly and professional. The front desk staff made us feel like valued guests. I am an IHG Platinum member, so ahead of my visit, Mr. Sousa, in reservations, generously upgraded us to a junior suite. The room, bathroom, dressing room and seating area were very elegant. The furnishings were opulent. Wall coverings made one feel like they were in a castle. The bathroom had every amenity imaginable. It is if someone stood in the shoes of the guest and anticipated the guest's every need. The bathroom had a huge deep soaking tub, a walk in shower, marble flooring, double mirrored doors and designer toiletries. amenities included everything from a sewing kit, toothbrush, razor, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, cotton swabs and balls, etc. It was like a home away from home. The hallways in some of the areas are adorned with real fabric. Robes and slippers were heavy and comfortable. USB ports and electric outlets were nicely placed around the room for guest convenience.
the pool and spa area are magnificent. There is always an attendant on duty, even at 7:00AM. I used the steam room for women. It is huge and provided me with a relaxing spa experience. While the room towels are sumptuous, the spa towels are even more sumptuous. There is a common lounge outfitted with comfortable furniture. Lockers and private dressing rooms are ample for the guests. The sauna was equally huge and adjacent too the steam room. I had the opportunity to stay at another five star hotel after this hotel on the Mediterranean, where the spa facilities could not compare to the pool and spa facilities at the Intercontinental Hotel Dublin, Ireland.
For breakfast we chose the buffet. the buffet is one of the most comprehensive I have ever encountered at any hotel anywhere. it would take one two weeks to taste and consume the vast selection of foods. There are hot eggs, sausages, bacon, fruit, charcuterie, salmon, cheeses, oatmeal, cereal, a large variety of breads including Guinness bread. Coffee, tea, juices, scones, beans etc.
The best part of the stay is the staff. Across the board, we were treated with great care, kindness and sincere hospitality. I thank the management of Mr. Nicky Logue, Mr. Jason Sousa and Mr. Ciaran O'Dwyer.
I was there last week with some friends , I was amazed with the bar tender high quality service. He was very friendly and pleasant. Really he made us very welcome. I want you guys to pass to his our greetings.
Luxury hotel in a great part of Dublin.
Rooms very impressive, bed brilliant,
Service top class, shout out to Gary out reception top man.
Breakfast 10/10 (steak and eggs)
100% we will be back to this great hotel.
Everything about it we were impressed with
A truly exceptional five-star experience from start to finish, boasting flawless service, stunning accommodations, An outstanding property that redefines luxury. From the moment of arrival, the dedication to guest comfort and personalized service was very attentive. The staff is intuitively attentive, always catering to your needs and repeatedly asking if there is anything else we can help with. Check-in was very smooth and welcoming. The concierge team went above and beyond to look after our car and had it ready at the set down area when we were leaving, while housekeeping maintained an immaculate standard throughout the stay. The fitness centre is well-equipped with top-tier machines, and the pool area is a beautifully maintained, perfect for relaxing. Perfectly situated, offering a quiet and exclusive retreat while remaining incredibly convenient to major attractions, high-end shopping, and the city's best cultural sites. We always return to this hotel as we find it a wonder full place to stay.

Hotel was lovely and breakfast was delicious and good choice. Rooms are well
Maintained and we had a room at the front of hotel which we liked
A grand hotel in a great location! As a solo traveler, I always appreciate the hospitality shown by the front desk staff. Gary was a great example of that! He made sure I had all the information I needed and provided me with his personal recommendations for things to do, complete with a printed list which he highlighted and starred his most favorite. I would go to see him each morning to "review" my plans and he would set me on my path with instructions to the Dart station (very close by) or where I could grab a quick walk before my taxi arrived. The atmosphere was warm, classic and upscale. Each night a delicious martini in the lounge and each morning, a very extensive breakfast with everything you could want. The bedding was superb (I made note of where you can buy it). I was very comfortable here. The rooms were quiet and spacious. Turn down service was offered. The only tiny drawback is the use of carpeting in the rooms. I wish we could just move beyond this for all accomodations of this level. Recommend taking a 4 minute walk to the Dart station and heading out for a day trip to Howth. Cute fishing village with seafood restaurants and an amazing cliff walk of various lengths to fit all abilities. Grand! If you are lucky, you might see some super cars in the parking lot (Pagani, Mclaren, etc)
The Intercontinental in Ballsbridge is on another level , the minute you arrive you can’t but be impressed by the appearance of this building and its beautiful surroundings, we were greeted from the car, bags taken care of and escorted to reception! The staff from the lovely door staff to reception couldn’t have been nicer , the room was just fantastic great room and the best bed by an Irish mile in any hotel I’ve visited either in Ireland or abroad, we had breakfast on three mornings and even though they were renovating the Seasons restaurant it was served in the equally beautiful and bright lobby lounge it was faultless
We had some drinks each evening in the bar and Safi was so generous with his time and helpful tips for our visit , finally the hotel is a five min walk to the Dart and you can enjoy a great walk to City centre in 30 minutes that’s if you can drag yourself from the delight on offer in Ballsbridge we couldn’t pull ourselves away on this occasion maybe next time can’t wait to return
Relaxing Spa treatments and pleasant overnight stay.
I love Intercontinental hotels worldwide but the Dublin property is one of my favorites. The staff is outstanding and the location is amazing.
This was our first stay at the Intercontinental Hotel, stayed three nights, our stay was perfect from start to finish. Staff were amazingly friendly, we didn't eat dinner at the hotel but we ordered breakfast to our room which was absolutely amazing, very generous portions. The bar was super classy with a relaxed atmosphere, service was amazing. The Head Bartender was amazing, very friendly, super attentive and very good at his job, even remembered our names when we returned. Overall our stay was superb and we would definitely return.
Everything was excellent from start to finish. That staff were extremely attentive, the food was delicious, the level of cleanliness was superb etc etc the icing on the cake was Gary on reception who set the tone from word go with a warm welcome he was the epitome of professionalism. Hospitality as it should be. Special mention to Tia & Co in the spa - great service!
Stellar service all around, especially the breakfast staff and the head barman, who pours a perfect pint.
