What a special stay to celebrate my birthday and my family’s first trip to the Emerald Isle. From Alessandra’s expert customer service at the front desk over our two day stay, to our upgraded large suite with balcony and broad windows (complete with a birthday welcome arrangement of fruit, chocolates and bottled water), the Irish charm and warmth were always present. The doormen, the kind concierge, great waiters like Victor at the Lobby Lounge, and a great downstairs wood-paneled bar with complimentary drink, the courtyard garden and a solid pair of restaurants (with piano performances) all enhanced our stay. The daily breakfast buffet was excellent, with an impressive spread and attentive, friendly service. Like me, my wife and children loved that breakfast experience, and every facet of our stay. Even the leafy grounds and very clean, updated interior. We will surely return!
Stunning hotel the staff are amazing congrats to all
The location was the safest it could be, the facilities were very clean, quiet and comfortable no matter the amount of residents. It really help us keep our peace of mind during our stay.
I don’t think there was something we didn’t like, everything was exactly as expected.
The general vibe of the hotel was more sophisticated and luxurious. For some the less central location may seem a drawback but I loved the leafy, gentrified & less touristy neighborhood around the hotel (plus there's a little commuter train station a short walk away that will get you into the center of town in no time). My room was spacious, well appointed, spotless and most importantly the bed was comfy. Staff were great at reception and in the bar, drinks were were a little on the expensive side but worth it for the level of service and atmosphere. I have a ton of IHG points so I used them to book this time but I would have no trouble paying good money if/when I return
I recently had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Dublin. The experience was excellent from start to finish. The front‑of‑house team were very welcoming on arrival, and the room was both beautiful and spacious.
The location is ideal — a calm, relaxing area with easy access to Dublin’s main amenities. The spa was also a highlight, offering a very peaceful and restorative atmosphere.
Altogether, it’s a fantastic place to spend a few relaxing nights, and I would happily return.
We booked six nights at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin. We planned in advance for severe food allergies and their allergen protocol. We are pleased to report we are enjoying our lovely hotel rooms and food at the Simmons dining room and the Lobby Lounge. Andrzej has been our waiter for both breakfasts at Simmons so far and he has provided us with exceptional service, attention to our party’s dietary restrictions and has been helpful with safe food options. We recommend staying at the Intercontinental in Dublin and dining at Simmons and ask to be seated in Andrzej’s section for superb attention to allergy protocols and tasty meals. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The hotel staff were very helpful, and location was great, pool and spa top class
Tv was not a smart tv couldn't cast to it without hdmi cable, but the kids had lots to do so didn't need to watch tv.
We had an incredible stay at the Intercontinental for our last 2 nights in Ireland. The staff were very welcoming, room was clean and very comfortable, breakfast delivered to our room was delicious and drinks at the bar were excellent. Would definitely stay again.
We have just enjoyed another excellent night in this wonderful hotel.
Warmly greeted on arrival by the charming GM Nicky Logue who happened to be in the lobby, who was very welcoming and engaging. Our check in lady was equally polite and kind.
Upgraded to a lovely suite as the hotel had some extra availability , which we greatly appreciated.
All staff throughout our stay were absolutely excellent to deal with .
Breakfast in the hotel’s newly renovated dining room was top class as ever and the decor is now much more modern, bright and airy. The restaurant is now being managed by Nick Murnier who was in attendance at breakfast and working hard to ensure all guests were very well looked after
Overall a fantastic establishment run with precision and flair
המיקום
חניה מאד יקרה והיא ריקה למה לא לתת שרות לאורח בנוסף הטלויזייה התקלקלה ולא היה נטפליקס ובארוחת בוקר לוקחים כסף על אספרסו ועל חביתה
Stayed here during my recent trip and everything was exactly as I hoped. Clean room, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, and a relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel. I'd definitely recommend it.
We had the pleasure of enjoying Afternoon Tea at The Continental Dublin to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a truly wonderful experience.
A special thank you to Andrea, who provided exceptional service. She was incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming. As newcomers to Dublin, she went above and beyond by sharing helpful insights about the city, including places to visit, ways to get around, and local recommendations. Her kindness and genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome and made our celebration even more memorable.
The ambience was elegant yet relaxing, making it perfect for a special occasion. The selection of pastries, sandwiches, and teas was excellent, with plenty of variety and beautifully presented. Every detail contributed to a lovely afternoon.
Whether you’re looking for an intimate afternoon with a loved one or a gathering with friends or family, I would highly recommend Afternoon Tea at The Continental Dublin. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our anniversary.
Spotless, elegant & one of the best hotels in Dublin, great location, friendly staff as ok of the breakfast team are a real credit to the business
Everything suites are great size, quiet & relaxing
I stayed here solo for my birthday and overall had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay.
The only reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 5 is that, although it was my birthday and I was celebrating alone, there wasn’t any acknowledgment or small gesture from the hotel. I completely understand this isn’t something that’s guaranteed, but a simple birthday card, dessert, or welcome treat would have made the experience feel even more memorable. Guest recognition and customer value is a big thing when choosing a stay for an event that’s meant to feel special.
