Pros:

Cozy and clssical, good place for up-market weekend trip

Not a big thing but the spa area (especially the steam-bath) shows some wear and tear

Bathroom was very tired- in need of renovation, definitely not of a 5 star standard. Room also tired & in need of renovation. Disappointing

The room on the top floor was very cold, there was no heating on and the aircon (which indicated it could heat) would not work.

Outstanding and memorable
Pros:

So beautifully maintained. The gardens and all the fresh flowers throughout. The art: the swimming pool. The food and breakfast buffet.Just outstanding.

Pros:

Classic high-end country house. Bags. Get to rooms before you do. Drinks at the bar amazing. Breakfast. Excellent and promptly served
