Home Away from Home
Pros:

Everything at the Hayfield Manor was impeccable. They paid attention to every detail and some one was always available to open a door or answer a question. My wife and I also thoroughly enjoyed the spa experience with the tea following being a nice treat. I want to thank everyone at the hotel who made our stay feel like home for our trip.

A truly memorable holiday.
Pros:

Our experience at the Hayfield Manor Hotel was nothing less than stellar!
The dedication and efficiency of the staff and the attention to the most minute detail is what sets this fine hotel apart from many others.
Our room was lovely and spacious and the hotel's grounds and dining accommodations were equally impressive.
The concierge group receives special praise for attending to each and every query or request.
We would, without hesitation, recommend this fine establishment to any and all who are seeking a 5-star holiday.

Wonderful!!!
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful!! The room was lovely and comfortable with everything we could ask for - shower and separate tub, towel warmer, soft robes, everything for a pot of tea (including milk), turn-down service, gorgeous views. The staff was so lovely - special shout-out to all of the valets, and Orla and Alice in the dining room. The breakfast was delicious and had everything you could ask for. Tea by the fire, piano music at night. Honestly, it far exceeded expectations!

Warm and Welcoming!
Pros:

My son and I recently visited the Hayfield and enjoyed every moment.
The staff is caring and kind and it feels like a family!
The rooms are large and comfortable.
The food was exceptional and served deliciously hot.
We had lunch one afternoon and we had spectacular soup and truly the best burger I have ever had!
We enjoyed the hot tub, steam room and pool and used it multiple times. My son had a great massage treatment as well.
Beautiful surroundings and located near the university, we walked there many times and enjoyed the serene setting and birdsong.

I can’t say enough about our experience at the Hayfield !
We will be back soon!
It was wonderful!

Underwhelmed and Disapointes
Pros:

I have stayed several time here before so was disappointed to see the lack of the 5 star treatment .
Our room was clean and lovely .
We got our dressing gowns out to go to the spa . I expected these to be sprinkling white and soft . Instead we had a greyest hard gown . We went out to the jacuzzi and while there notice the the surround was unkept and dirty looking ,glass window not cleaned in a while, paint coming off pillers and furniture . There was a piece of chewing gum under one of the seats on the ground and was still there the next morning . We went then to the steam room to find hair in the drain . I went out to get someone but no one about . On the ceiling of the pool there is black mole !
Our dinning experience left me a bit cross . Our dinner was included in our package .
When we were finished dinner ( which was only ok ) we left to go out to the bar at this stage the waitress said in a loud voice that we must pay . I explain that it was included and only then did she look it up .
The following morning breakfast left me unimpressed . My husband order the full Irish when was as dull as the picture of it below .
I tried some of the scones and as a baker myself can tell you there were not that days . Hard and lacked taste . I did mention this on check out and did get a email back . Overall I think the place has got complacent .

Still dreaming about our still in Hayfield Manor
Pros:

We stayed in Hayfield Manor Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I can hands down say it was the best hotel experience I've ever had. From the moment we stepped into we were treated to 5 star luxury.
The staff were amazing so friendly and welcoming. The food was exquisite. We also had Spa treatments which were amazing and I had the best nights sleep after it. I highly recommend.

A perfect 5
Pros:

Everything! When you talk about 5 star this is the real deal. Excellent attention to detail. They were over accommodating when the wedding downstairs was disrupting our sleep and found us a quieter room. All staff members were cheerful and helpful. Special thanks to Mary, Katherine (dining) and Max for going above and beyond.

Cons:

Just the price, but you get what you paid for in this case. It’s pricey but so worth it.

The only option for cork hotel
Pros:

While I do believe our 9-month-old was the only baby on-site during our stay, Hayfield Manor was by far the most baby-friendly hotel we stayed at during our trip. We road-tripped all around Ireland and stayed at five different hotels, and Hayfield absolutely blew us away. They had robes waiting for my husband and me, plus an adorable baby robe for our son. A beautiful little wooden crib was already set up in the room, and the staff brought all of our bags up for us and kept our car nearby in case we needed to quickly grab anything.

The staff was beyond amazing, and the breakfast was hands-down the best we had the entire trip. They offered a mix of high-quality continental options along with a full menu to order from, and you could enjoy both.

We also ate dinner on-site our first night, and it was incredible. They even had a baby food option with soft chopped vegetables and potatoes for our son.

The indoor pool was another highlight. It was the perfect temperature and such a great way for our son to burn off some energy. It was absolutely gorgeous too, with draped ceilings and Frank Sinatra-style music playing in the background.

Hotel was very clean. It was a great value for the quality of room and what you get with it. And it was very quiet and peaceful overall.

The hotel is about a 20-minute walk to Fitzgerald Park and around 25–30 minutes to the city center for food and exploring. Overall, this hotel was perfect, and we will 1000% be coming back.

Back in a heartbeat
Pros:

Loved the Hayfield from start to finish. The staff was friendly, the ambiance was relaxing, and the food was excellent. While I had been here once before for dinner this was my first stay while on business in Cork. The room was very big and had a nice seating area so I did not have to be sitting on the bed to relax while in the room. The tub was also a highlight! While the bathroom in my room was a bit dated they did a good job maintaining it, upgrading where possible and unquestionably clean. I enjoyed the various restaurants but especially liked the breakfast which was included in my rate. So many options form the buffet plus a menu to choose from. Did not get old. Also quite appreciate the lovely fresh flowers they had in the common areas as well as the fires. So cozy.

Hayfield Manor Spa
Pros:

I was recently in the Spa for a Balancing Ritual massage. I must convey the feeling of quiet peace and relaxation I felt was a beautiful change to my every day. From entering Hayfield Manor, and throughout my stay, I was treated so professionally and felt very special indeed. My Therapist was instantly trustworthy, softly spoken and very skilled in her techniques of massage. I had never had a body massage before, so this was an outstanding feeling.
I highly recommend this treatment as a deserving experience to every woman regardless of their stage in life. I will certainly be building another visit soon into my busy lifestyle.
