Very classy hotel. The staff was very attentive, checked us in quickly and made an excellent suggestion for us to upgrade our room at a very reasonable rate. I definitely recommend and look forward to my next stay!
The ambience was warm and inviting. The history behind the hotel was interesting to learn. We enjoyed the decor as well as the mini museum inside.
No microwave in the room.
Swimming pool area not always clean
Lot of hair on the side and inn pool
This hotel offers Premium First Class service! The staff is incredible and you feel like you are staying at the Ritz or similar top notch hotel. Everyone was kind and treated us like royalty from the complimentary glass of champagne to the room service to the valet. The interior of the hotel is beautifully and meticulously updated. We had to go back for more pictures because we didn't take enough.

Valet parking staff wasn't nice.
The staff was very friendly, professional, and courteous
I have stayed at this facility several times mostly in the historic side of the hotel. However, this time I was assigned the manor side of the hotel. It seemed to me in comparison that the manor side was for the help in the day. The rooms were small. The bathrooms were small. They weren’t as nice as a historic side the beds, although comfortable were not the quality of the historic side They didn’t have pretty scenes outside. Not even a nice cityscape. We had some problems with the rooms. However, the staff did take care of them immediately to our satisfaction, they explained what the problem was and how they fixed it. From now on with scheduling a room I want to confirm that I have a historic side where I don’t wanna stay at all. I was there with a girlfriend whom I had talked this hotel up to and I was very disappointed and somewhat embarrassed in the room that we got on the manor side she even even though this was her first day was a little disappointed in it after how I had talked up the hotel that we were stuck in a room that was pretty much like any other midgrade hotel
