The location was excellent. Close to the town centre. Able to walk to all the famous sites. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Location and staff were great . Common areas and rooftop deck very nice .
24 hour front desk was a good touch .

Excellent staff, especially the reception. Rooms are convenient and clean. Breakfast is very good. Good dining options in the area. Monuments within walking distance.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel ist nicht so groß und sauber. Die Dachterrasse ist wunderbar. Das Hotel liegt nahe dem Bahnhof Termini und an der Metro.

What a great visit, thanks for a lovely stay! So kind and helpful staff, lovely breakfast enjoyed on the sunny terrace and walking distance to train station, metro and by foot to so many attractions.

We have stayed at this hotel 4 times over the last 20 years or so, and it has become sort of our home in Rome. The staff is very friendly. The location is very good for us, coming by train, near Stazione Termini. Other people might prefer a location closer to a landmark or with a view. The terrace on the 5th floor is very nice, for example, but you won't see the Colosseum or S.Peter's Square from there, if that's what you're after.
We met a couple from Norway who were staying in a Hotel next to Piazza Navona, and had always been going there over the years: that's the same with us: we like this Hotel, and we keep coming to it. In short, it is a favourite, but it might not be to everyone's taste, depending on your expectations.
It's a similar story with breakfast: it has all that we need and more, but it is a mostly Continental breakfast with some cooked food (scrambled eggs, bacon, but not always), and you won't get a Full English, again if that's what you're after.

Hotel Columbia is a great place to stay and in a great location. It's close to the train station and metro, and you can walk to many of the major tourist sites. The staff are very nice and helpful. I have stayed here before and will stay here again the next time I am in Rome.

As usual - for the 6th time we have stayed at the Columbia, it was great! The staff are so helpful and pleasant to speak with and good fun. Good brekky before you head out to the brilliant city. Rooms are well appointed with everything you need. Location is excellent with the termini only a 5 minute walk. Will certainly be back - thank you!

Hôtel trés bien situé, a proximité de tous les transports en communs (5 mn a pied bus, gare, métro), proche du centre historique. Le personnel de l'hôtel à l'écoute, disponible et d'une grande gentillesse (un petit mot pour la personne du soir son sourire et sa gentillesse). Les chambres bien équipées, propres et bien isolées. le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet complet.

We spent 4 days in Rome this January. We were looking for a small hotel in the center so we could explore Rome on foot and we chose well. The staff was extremely friendly. The receptionists suggested a plan for those few days and we followed their suggestions so we managed to see a lot. They also recommended several restaurants and all of them were excellent. As soon as we checked in, they showed us the way to the perfect pastry shop Dagnini, ( maybe 5 minutes walking ) to which we returned several times. We had breakfast with our overnight stay and it was a good move. A large selection of sweet and savory items and of course excellent coffee. Next time we stay in Rome we will definitely book here again.

Brīnišķīgs personāls reģistratūrā. Tas arī viss. Kopumā viesnīca ir ok, no dzelzceļa stacijas pastaigas ātrumā ar kājām sasniedzama 5 minūtēs. Tuvumā metro. Numuriņi ļoti mazi un šauri, bet toties gultas ērtas. Numuriņus uzkopj katru dienu - gultas saklāj, dvieļus maina. Brokastīs izvēle nav liela, bet paēst var. Booking vērtējums par brokastīm ir stipri pārspīlēts.
