Ljmuiden visit
Pros:

The location was really nice if not a little remote however it was fairly simple to get to and buses were very frequent. Discovering the places to eat on the beach was great and the two restaurants on the same block as the hotel had really nice food. Would have liked to explore the area a little more however our trip was for a festival a little distance away so kept us away from the area a fair bit. Staff were pleasant and helpful also.

Cons:

On arrival we were given a balcony room but a double bed which wasn't going to work as i was travelling with a friend. The staff did change us however we lost the balcony and although we got two beds they were stuck together. They classed it as a free upgrade but i didn't understand this to be honest, you did get a little more space but as it was the highest temps Holland had seen I would have preferred the balcony.
The breakfast was fairly standard and a little expensive to be honest for what it was, bought in scrambled eggs for the price we paid was a little hard to take. We ate out after that and found similar breakfasts for half the price some in other hotels in Haalem. Overall it was a nice place to stay, friendly staff, clean and tidy, but for me being a senior chef i was a little disappointed in the breakfast.

Don’t choose this hotel before a cruise trip!
Cons:

They were very aggressive via mail to sell you upgrade or breakfast. I accepted the upgrade and ended up with “nice “parking view. Big noise from the party beyond the parking even with closed windows. The balcony is very dirty no possible to go out without shoes. They also charge me twice. One time the hotel and booking as well. Now I hope to get my money back from double charging.

Cons:

Es war absolut dreckig. Das Zimmer war insgesamt wirklich erschreckend, die Toilette war nicht geputzt, die Bettlaken hatten Flecken, auf dem Balkon war ein großer Büschel Haare, die Scheiben waren komplett dreckig und als Kirsche auf der Torte hatte meine Frau am nächsten Tag einen riesen Ausschlag. Den Symptomen nach zu urteilen mussten das Bettwanzen gewesen sein. Ein Glück waren wir nur 1 Nacht da und es wird definitiv auch die letzte gewesen sein. Es ist schon wirklich traurig dass man für über 200€ bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel sowas geboten bekommt.

Дівчата на стійці реєстрації були дуже привітні, допомогли викликати таксі і ми змогли залишити речі в холі на деякий час чого не скажеш про хлопців. Які не знали чи ми оплатили готель чи ні

Strand ca. 500m sehr breit, feinsandig, dort gute Restauration.
direkte Umgebung in die Jahre gekommen.
Hotel hell und freundlich
geräumiges Zimmer, schöner Ausblick,
sehr bequemes Bett.
ausreichend Parkplätze mit E-Ladung.

kein Bier zum Mitnehmen mehr da.
kein ZDF-Programm ( Fußball-WM)

A seaside resort well executed.
Pros:

A classic seaside resort that has been through more than one change of management, which usually spells problems, but not here; the means have been made available to keep up appearances and maintain a quality experience. Quite likeable.

Cons:

The AC while working was loud. There were some issues with power in the room that required staff intervention which was a bit annoying. The area might have suffered from pre-season sleep, but there are other establishments nearby that give an impression of having been boarded-up for quite some time. We found dinner and had a great time still.

Pros:

+ Das Hotel liegt sehr nah am Strand
+ Die Betten waren bequem

Cons:

- Das Personal wirkte leider etwas unorganisiert (Buchungen wurden nicht gefunden, es waren zu wenig Betten bereitgestellt)
- Die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig
- Über unserem Zimmer wurde eine Party gefeiert und es wurden Lebensmittel auf unseren Balkon geworfen
- Der Parkplatz ist mit 16€ am Tag recht teuer
- Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, das kläglich versucht wurde mit Deko aufzupeppen
- Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ließ zu wünschen übrig

Pros:

Die Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum sehr schönen Strand ist einfach unschlagbar. Außerdem hätte man die Sauna nutzen und ausschließlich für die Familie reservieren können.

Cons:

DIE beiden Zimmer waren nicht gut gereinigt. Vor allem die Balkone waren sehr dreckig.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels wenige Meter vom Strand ist top. Auch die Verkehrsanbindung nach Amsterdam mit Bus und Bahn ist gut.

Das Frühstücks-Buffet war abwechslungsreich und gut.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind einfach und nicht mehr ganz up to date.
