The whole stay was wonderful. I want to send huge kudos to Faith at the front desk. She always made you feel welcome.
Pros:

I love it all. From Faith at the front desk to the restaurants (Crepe place 10 out of 10) the rooms (so art deco ❤️) the entertainment in the bar area. The bar staff was busy, but still took the time to smile and look you in the eyes.

Cons:

The only thing I would ping a tiny bit is that our room sat ground level with the parking lot. It wasn’t a deal breaker, but couldn’t open the curtains..

Pros:

It was a great location (walking distance to Forest Park and great food, around the corner from a Whole Foods), the staff were very helpful, the cleaning staff was friendly and did their jobs thoroughly. The only thing that would keep me from a return visit would be the fact there is no pool. This trip was an "adult" trip so it didn't matter, but when I travel with my kids, that aspect is a deal breaker. Gym was clean and equipment was good. I LOVED having the coffee bar, bar bar, and food hall vibes...such a great idea for a hotel. The parties were an added bonus and a great way to meet new people also staying at the location.

Cons:

No pool. The live TV function on the elliptical was not set up, but there was a larger TV for the room (nobody else was in there with me both mornings).

The location is very convenient for seasonal visitors like us at the St. Louis Chess Club Summer Camp.

Cons:

Everything includes on-site parking, a restaurant, Whole Foods, and a nice, quiet atmosphere — but not lonely!

We loved it. So cute. Had excellent service at the bar, and coffee. The creapes, made fresh, were the absolute best!
Pros:

History of hotel, location was beautiful, so much history downtown. Well cared for and clean.

Cons:

We had the handicap room. Bathtub very slippery, put a towel down. Also the bathroom floor was very slick when wet.
