Das Hotel ist gut gelegen. in Gehdistanz vom Bahnhof und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Freundliches Personal, alles hat bestens geklappt. Für einen Städtetrip absolut empfehlenswert.

Pros:

End of April we enjoyed a pleasant 7 days stay at the Adriatico.
The service, constant attention to our accommodation and comfort were outstanding.
We felt like privileged guests who's standing and every requests were treated as important and fulfilled with excellence.
Room and guest services, concierge, all of the staff but especially house keeping and maids were excellent.
I would recommend this hotel as a wonderful stay in the center of florence, with a location well suited to visiting the historic Florence and main shopping streets yet surprisingly quiet. The grand Hotel Adriatico is definitively over-performing its 4 star class.

I stayed at this hotel for the second time. First time I rated the hotel with 9 stars because I thought that what happened next was just a mistake. I chose it for the second time for its location and for its polite staff. The first time after I left I faced a problem with double charging in the room. After talking to my bank, I contacted the hotel and they informed me that they had no idea. Finally I disputed the transaction with my bank and managed to get my money back. I said that it was a mistake and that these things happen and that it doesn't matter. So now the second time I chose the same hotel, exactly the same thing happened. I contacted my bank again who informed me that they had charged double the amount. I contacted the hotel and again they didn't know anything not did they try to find out what the problem was with their billing system. I finally understood that this is their policy. They are unprofessional and try to scam their customers. Be very careful if you choose to stay there.

A low end 4 star hotel with little or no elegance. Friendly enough
Pros:

Location was very good. Not far from train station and attractions al within walking distance. Local area has many small shops and supermarkets for water but not all sell alcohol as they are halal.

Cons:

Bit dated. Stated iron in room but all that was present was an old trouser press. For the most part staff were good but the Monday morning breakfast was a bad experience. The person running the service seemed flustered curt and staff not as attentive as other mornings. We got no tea or coffee until we were about to leave when it did come they brought no milk so we left with no drinks. This was only one morning but it was our busiest day we started having to find and buy our own morning drinks.
