Central location with parking, great food and a well equipped gym.
Pros:

It is a great hotel with parking in a central location. It is the second time we have stayed there. The gym is excellent.

Cons:

I am a bit of a pillow snob, 2 great pillows, but like Goldilocks, I think I needed one that was somewhere in middle of too soft and too hard. 🤣 I am sure if I asked for another one they would have accommodated, but I was fine.

Need to get better standards and staff who’s willing to work.

Central location.

Cons:

Paid for club lounge but found that the club lounge was no more. Was told to go to the bar and when asked what I could have was told :- only one draft bear, house Red wine and house white wine.
Asked for a bottle of cider and a JD +Coke and was told I couldn’t have this only draft beer.
One day had to wait in a queue to be severed as a conference was going and they was all at the bar. It took over 10mins waiting for a drink. This shouldn’t happen.
Only found out last night that I was allowed Budweiser. No Staff or staff that didn’t want to work. Breakfast time wasn’t any better. I had to ask if they could do omelette/eggs Benedict’s has again they didn’t want to tell you what you can have
It seemed that if you know then you ok but if you didn’t they didn’t tell you.
WILL NOT BE COMMING BACK. GOING BACK TO NEWCASTLE AS THEY HAVE A PROPER ROOM AND STAFF THAT SERVES YOU AND NOT HAVING TO WAIT AT A BAR WITH OTHERS.

Breakfast range was good but quality of produce/cooking wasn’t the best. Specifically scrambled eggs were grainy and flavourless and baked beans were hard and lacked salt and sweet you’d expect.
