Great place, good location helpful staff.
Pros:

Booked here last minute after deciding not to stay at a pre booked room nearby, as it was too vile for words!
Helpful staff, comfortable quiet room, a great bath and shower, great facilities. Good value for money.

Cons:

Shame parking was to pay for, but could park on the road out front for free. So not the end of the world

Edinburgh visit
Pros:

The hotel was very well placed for a weekend in Edinburgh. Reliable, local train into the city and an easy walk to Portobello beach where there are some fabulous cafés and restaurants.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great.

Cons:

The room was comfortable and I slept well, but it felt very dated and in need of redecorating.
On our 2nd night we ate in the hotel restaurant. We witnessed an argument between 2 members of staff which was disconcerting and made us feel uncomfortable.
The bases of the pizzas we ordered there were hard and almost inedible. In the end I gave up, took it to my room in a "doggy bag" and could only eat the topping.

Heerlijke grote kamer en een lekker hard matras.

Cons:

Veel te duur hotel. Je moet ook nog extra betalen voor de parkeerplaats.
En als je ontbijt erbij wil moet je dat ook nog extra betalen.
Erg duur hoor alleen een bed voor zoveel geld.
