We hadden het hotel uitgekozen vanwege de mogelijkheid om te kunnen zwemmen. Het zwembad bleek wegens een onderhoudsbeurt echter gesloten. Dat viel tegen en vind ik niet passend.

Convenient for chateau, although a long walk.

Nice outside area with lots of seating. Good pool

No ambience. Room a long way from the lift. Difficult to step in and out of bath for shower.

Idéal pour séjourner en famille à Fontainebleau
Pros:

Accueil chaleureux, ambiance familiale
Excellent restaurant pour la demi-pension, petit-déjeuner très fourni avec mets de qualité (brie, clafoutis maison...)
Style cosy, grand lobby, espaces extérieurs, parking gratuit, château de Fontainebleau à 10mn à pied.

Cons:

Réservée pour une nuit étape, pour 2 adultes, 2 enfants, le concept de la chambre aurait pu être sympa… une box chambre familiale avec un lit double, un lit superposé et un lit simple… mais 2 salles de bain minuscules, sans pouvoir poser ses affaires de toilette, en ouvrant les portes des douches une forte odeur d’ammoniaque s’en Est dégagée, la propreté des douches un peu douteuse, le porte papier toilette près à se décrocher du mur… mis à part un pot de savon accroché, pas de kit de toilette de dépannage proposé. Pas de prise pour brancher le téléphone près du lit…
Plus l’impression d’être une chambre d’auberge de jeunesse que dans une chambre d’hôtel 4*.

The reception staff were young, attentive, and welcoming. The housekeeping team was professional and maintained the rooms well.

Cons:

There was no luggage assistance, so guests had to carry their own bags, even the trolley size was small that needed me to carry my own luggage twice.

The breakfast selection was limited and the quality was average.

The swimming pool needed more regular cleaning.

L'emplacement par rapport au centre ville et au Château ; très pratique

Cons:

Cet hôtel (4 étoiles non méritées) est vieillissant ! Dans notre SdB sur 3 plafonniers lumière 1 décroché pendouillait lamentablement et 1 était HS ; le lavabo et la baignoire quasiment bouchés ne s'écoulant que très très lentement ; éclairage minimaliste dans la chambre ; bref très loin de valoir son prix !
