Unser lieblings Hotel in Rostock!
Pros:

Das ScanHotels City ist absolut empfehlenswert. Für uns ist es ganz klar unser Lieblingshotel in Rostock. Früher hieß es Radisson Blu, und seitdem hat sich der Service sogar noch ein Stück weiter verbessert. Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt.

Alles ist modern, sehr sauber und hochwertig eingerichtet. Besonders überzeugt haben uns die Freundlichkeit des Teams, die angenehme Atmosphäre und die hohe Qualität in allen Bereichen. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Pros:

Es war bereits unser 3. Aufenthalt allein in diesem Jahr, und was soll ich sagen: Dieses Hotel bleibt unsere erste (und einzige) Adresse in Rostock! Zugegeben, insgesamt - also mit Parken, Kurabgabe und Frühstück - ist es nicht ganz preiswert, für uns aber jeden Euro wert! Wir lieben die Betten, die superbequem sind; das Frühstück ist immer hervorragend und das Personal von An- bis Abreise sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir bedanken uns einmal mehr für das Zimmerupgrade! Bis zum nächsten Mal :)!

Cons:

Rührei und Würstchen waren diesmal etwas kühl...aber vielleicht hatte einfach ein Gast die Deckel zu lange offen gelassen. Jammern auf hohem Niveau!

Es ist vor einer Kreuzfahrt das Hotel der ersten Wahl.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war wieder sehr gut. Wir haben auch abends das Restaurant genutzt. Das Essen war sehr gut und man sitzt auch sehr angenehm und ruhig.

Cons:

Der Preis fürs Parken ist schon sehr hoch, bei dem doch schon hohen Preis fürs Übernachten.

Ein wirklich außergewöhnlich geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel mit kleinen Mängeln.
Pros:

(1) Die Zimmer bieten sehr viel Platz und Komfort.
(2) Das Interior ist sehr geschmackvoll und das Bett ist wirklich bequem.
(3) Es gelangt viel Licht in das Fenster, jedoch lässt es sich gut durch die doppelten Vorhänge abdunkeln, so dass man gut schlafen kann.
(4) Das Frühstücksbuffet ist üppig und sehr lecker.

Cons:

(1) Das WLAN war nicht brauchbar – man konnte nur einen Browser anzeigen lassen, somit nicht damit arbeiten. Ich musste mit meinem Handy einen Hotspot erstellen.
(2) Die Granit-Ablage am Wachbecken hinterließ eine schwarze Spur, nachdem ich sie mit dem Handtuch trocken wischen wollte. Das ließ Zweifel an der Sauberkeit des Zimmers.
(3) Das Duschwasser zog nicht richtig ab – hier müsste man ordentlich Drano reingießen.
(4) Die Minibar vs. Zimmerreinigung empfand ich als Green-Wasching; es war auch unklar, ob die Produkte nachgefüllt werden würden und im Preis inkludiert sind.
(5) Ein Snack-Automat wäre mir willkommen gewesen – gerade nach einem sehr langen Businesstag.

Best stay in town despite new owner
Pros:

They are the nicest people at the reception, the restaurant, and the bar. While I usually don't like hotel restaurants, this one is great, and while the rooftop bar has no classic drinks on offer, the view is absolutely fantastique. Also best view in town, if you book the right room.

Cons:

Only sad part is that since they are not a Radisson any longer, there is no Nespresso and no free water any longer, and the prices went up.
