Good location. Good size room.
Room air con was not working. A small portable air con machine was provided but was too small for the size of the room so not very effective. This was a particular problem given the excessive heat at the time of our stay. The air con unit was also loud and had to be turned off so we could sleep. None of us slept due to the heat and noise from outside.
My daughter had the pull out sofa bed and the mattress was comparable to sleeping on plastic bottles.
I advised staff of our experience in the morning at checkout and was offered appologies and a coffee which we didn't accept as we were late leaving due to the long wait to checkout while staff dealt with a phone call. Having stayed at several Hilton hotels we expected better. We should have saved money by booking a local budget hotel instead.

Everything was perfect. What a great location near the 107 bus to northern line tube if you're coming from the north to visit London

The hotel was ideally situated for an overnight stay. This was my second time of booking and found it more friendly than the last visit. As a single woman visiting, it was important that I felt safe and secure. From the receptionist, room service, bar and restaurant staff and even a maintenance man, the service was outstanding.
Air conditioners would have been ideal, but the electric fans that were provided were acceptable.
No air conditioning heat in the virtually unbearable
Pleasant staff . Good breakfast. Internally architecture was interesting.

Had to ask for towels for two of us. Only one bath and hand towel.
No fridge in room. eg to keep our liquids cool.

Air conditioning not working in rooms
I had a fantastic stay at DoubleTree by Hilton. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel genuinely welcome, and the service throughout my stay was excellent.
A special thank you to Balazs, who went above and beyond to make my visit memorable. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, always happy to help with a smile. His exceptional customer service really stood out and made a big difference to my overall experience.
The room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped, and the hotel itself was clean and well maintained. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Every member of staff I encountered was welcoming, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
Thank you to Balazs and the whole team for such a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend DoubleTree by Hilton and look forward to returning in the future.
The property was clean and well looked after, I would like to thank Balazs. His service and hospitality was truly exceptional, and of all the hotels I’ve used. I’ve never experienced service like what Balazs provided. Nothing was too much trouble, he really did go above and beyond. He is a credit to the DoubleTree By Hilton.
Clean and modern
We left a football shirt behind by mistake and have messaged and called the hotel to see if we can pay them postage to send it back but we cannot get hold of anybody.
We also received a parking fine even though we paid the £5 on check in and we’re only parked there during our check in and out times.
And lastly, we didn’t get our arrival cookies even though the people in front of us and to the side of us did.
