Everything else. Poor reception, plus you keep using my name incorrectly, which meant my confirmed booking couldn't be found. The high level of noise kept us awake until around 2.00 am, then the cleaners were noisy from about 05.30.
Food was good, but there was a 45 minute delay in being served, despite the restaurant being nearly empty...clearly staffing issues. We asked for a bath and reception told us the allocated room had one...it didn't - by the time we'd checked in and got to our room I was too tired to complain.
The font used on the phone in the room is ridiculously small.
The corridor carpet pattern for those with slight eyesight impairment is very disconcerting.
The glass shower screen is difficult to see - it needs a transfer or etching.

Gym is dated and pool area needs a facelift

I made use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The pool itself was fine but the surrounding areas I thought needed a deep clean and most of the outside tiles on the jacuzzi were missing and it was very grubby. The sauna door handle was very loose and very dirty as were the door hinges. The showers and area was not very clean and there wasn’t a cold shower to use after the sauna. Overall not a good show for the lovely hotel. A bit of a letdown ☹️☹️

Everything was great!

Staff were a bit aloof. Weren’t very engaging or warming. The pillows were quite tricky to sleep on. Quite expensive.

Acoustics in the bar very loud. Poor barman on the night was his first night and he had no support, he struggled. No staff around in the morning to talk to and the bloody smoke detector in the room went off 3 times scaring the living daylights out of me. I only used my straighteners! Beer options in the bar limited. You got rid of Stella!

The car parking!! The car park is outsourced or owned by another company and although you pay at the reception for the parking, that information has never been translated to the parking company. I was part of a group of twelve and on our return home everyone that had a car there started receiving parking fines. We were there 4 nights, and each got one for every day

The pillows were very bouncy and uncomfortable. They also forgot our alarm call. Fortunately we had back up.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!
I can’t comment on the dining options as we ate out in the evening and left at 6.30am so didn’t have breakfast.

Nothing. Maybe to let guests know that reception sort the parking fee out as we wasted 30 mins trying to download the app with a poor signal which kept failing.

There were marks on the chairs, mould in the shower and cracks on the bathroom tiles. They had forgotten to set up a bed for my son was listed as a sofa bed when booking but it was a Z bed when the staff quickly brought it in after mentioning it was missing. The swimming pool was a bit cold for children so bare that in mind if you want a family swim! We booked breakfast and dinner package my dinner was over cooked so was hard to chew but everything else was nice other than that.

No bar fridge in the room. Duvet was thin and clumpy. Carpet has seen better days with obvious burn marks on it. Woman on reception upon check in and other dealings was not friendly or welcoming. I asker her for an attachment for the hairdryer but it never came despite her saying she’d send one right up. I believe she should find another job as she clearly doesn’t enjoy dealing with the public.

Upon arriving there was only one member of staff at reception and a queue was building up. However what disturbed me the most was the blatant difference in engagement from the staff member. He spoke very politely to other guests but when my husband and I were attended to the demeanor was very different. The attitude was very abrupt towards us. Granted that he was dealing with a lot of customers alone but if he was able to welcome the person ahead of us then surely the same energy should have been extended to us. The whole experience felt rather discriminatory. The house keeping staff were amazingly friendly and very helpful.

I wouldn't hesitate to visit the hotel again but I would hope that there would be improvement towards increasing and improving reception staff during busy hours.

The drain of out washroom shower stayed clogged for a day so that wasn’t nice
