Early check-in and late check-out are available for an additional charge of GBP 25. Parking Spaces at the hotel are limited, subject to availability upon arrival at the hotel and charged at £10.00 overnight per day. Please Note: Access to the carpark will only be allowed from 12pm on your day of arrival. The nearest multistorey car park is Jubilee Car Park, post code for satellite navigation users is HG1 1DJ. Please note rooms accommodating pets may be limited. Guests who wish to travel with pets are advised to inform the property in advance. There is a GBP 15 per pet per night extra charge applicable.
When booking five or more rooms, group terms and conditions are applied to your reservation. A 10% non-refundable deposit is taken at time of booking and full payment and rooming list are required six weeks prior to your arrival. These terms replace any other booking policies agreed with online travel agents.

Room was really good. however the Hot Water supply required running before it warmed up. Also the heated towel rail did not work at all.

One of very few hotels in the centre that have their own parking. Arrived and managed to get the very last spot (paying £10 for the privilege) but it was tight!
The Bar and Restaurant is a stunning space especially the stained glass roof light. We agreed to not have our room serviced in return for drinks, and given the nice weather chose to sit and drink out on the terrace.
Second night no luck with the onsite carpark, ended up out front (free overnight) then paid for a couple of morning hours, via app the night before, so we didn’t have to run out to the machine pre breakfast and check out.
Our room was at the furthest end of the hotel from reception possible, so spent a lot of time walking the corridors.
Breakfast was a bit of a let down to be honest. Both mornings were crazy busy with tables left uncleared. Many items ran out and were not replaced … annoying as it was mainly the pastries and fruit which are my go to. I managed to get some toast thankfully.

Beautiful building in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large and comfortable.
We were unable to use the bar in the evening because it was so full. That was one of the main reasons for booking.
The shower temperature was inconsistent and went from scolding to cold without adjustment. The room was cold without the heating but when the heating was on it was very loud.
Breakfast was a shambles with nowhere to sit.

Asked for a room with easy access as my mum.is 90 and limited mobility
Got a room which required using the lift and a few stars and walk right to the end of a long corridor yet there were downstairs rooms in the hotel which I would have thought common sense to put us in
The property was in an ideal location to reach all the shops.
Our room was nice and compact with a great view. However the television did not work and despite a member of staff trying to get it working he was unsuccessful. However the hotel very kindly reimbursed me for the inconvenience.

The room. It didn't feel clean or fresh, in some areas it was dirty. The room was far too small, you couldn't move cases without lifting them up as there was no floor space. No decent lighting or area for makeup. Shabby in places, the rooms I feel definitely need modernising.
