Great value and location
Pros:

Great location and breakfast and comfortable rooms

Cons:

Main thing is rooms get quite warm even with a fan in the summer. As there’s no air conditioning it could be very hot in a heatwave

We had a very nice short stay. Enjoyed cocktails in the bar. Explored Harrogate.
Pros:

Great list cation for exploring central Harrogate. Classical hotel building. Enjoyed the bar.

Cons:

Although the lift wasn’t working this didn’t pose many problems. It was very hot and the rooms not air conditioned. We needed to close the window due to noise from outside equipment.
Not the best breakfast I’ve had.

Great location fabulous staff and great outdoor areas and bars
Pros:

All of the staff were so helpful and friendly, the outside terraces were lovley the bars were great and breakfast was perfect everything you could want

Cons:

I went for a budget cozy room which was just that very small and cozy but clean and comfortable. It was pretty hot in the room and the fan provided didn’t really help. Also will be much easier once the lift is back on operation. Some of the decor is in need of updating but overall I would return again next time we stay in Harrogate

Great, wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros:

Very spacious, decor was fab, location great.

Cons:

The room was not the one I booked, however we were moved to another room and staff member that assisted us was excellent… well done Imogen..

Only other downside , breakfast seem to run out at around 9.45am and not really replenished!! Most of breakfast staff were great, but odd couple let the side down sadly…

Too much hard work and admin involved to stay at this Hotel
Pros:

Most of the staff was very nice, the rooms were nice and clean and the food was actually really good.

Cons:

The Hotel looked all right on paper, however they made the stay "hard work" What I mean by this is - yes, they did send an email saying the lift was ooo, however when we stayed we found out that the lift had been ooo for the last 5 month! I had called reservations to make sure the correct business card and address details were provided for when my colleagues checked out and also checked this with reception on the first night. Then when it came to check out, they still tried to charge my personal card, no info about the card details or the company address details were anywhere. I am yet to receive invoice copies.
Then we saw a customer one morning who had to sleep outside as no one was at reception or monitored their phone lines to let late arrivals in! And the receptionist at the time didn't even apologise to him.
Just too many things were not right for the amount of money we paid for the 4 rooms over 2 nights which is most likely all down to the Management. Actual staff on site was mostly lovely.

On the whole we enjoyed it and Harrogate is lovely
Pros:

Location was brilliant. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Ben and Dan. Ben went out of his way to make sure our party was comfortable and happy

Cons:

My room wasn’t great. Steep steps to the bathroom and it smelt a little musty. Bed was comfy though and fans provided for the heat. Unfortunately the lift wasn’t working but we were told about that before our arrival and asked to contact them if any issues and staff did offer to assist with our luggage up the stairs
