Great stay!!
Pros:

Great service, especially at breakfast. Very clean room and good facilities.

Location is also great, close to Peak District, etc.

Cons:

We had a super king room with a separate single size bed as we requested, but that single bed mattress was probably the worst I ever slept on.. however the king bed had a superb mattress.

Pros:

10/10 – We had a truly wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Mansfield Alfreton. The location was excellent, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the overall cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding. The staff were extremely professional, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant, breakfast, and overall hospitality were all of a very high standard and reflected excellent global quality. One small suggestion only: it would be lovely if the restaurant menu could include a few more simple vegetarian options for guests. Thank you once again for the fantastic hospitality — we would be delighted to stay again and highly recommend the hotel.

Hidden charges for dogs staying, quoted £20 cannot understand why £40 for 2 dogs when extra cleaning for 1 dog would suffice

We had to find somewhere to stay last minute that would accept dogs!
Very good location on the edge of the M1.
Good size room to include pets, with added xtra of treats and water bowls in reception.
Plus area where you could eat, with your 4 legged friends.

Cons:

We have stayed here frequently and still miss the swimming pool.

Great, convenient hotel
Pros:

Clean and tidy, spacious room, perfect location - so close to motorway but very quiet. Ample parking.

Nice reception bar / dining area.

Cons:

Price increased a day after looking. Once booked I found cheaper elsewhere too but had already committed to higher price which was frustrating as our stay was only for one day and could have been 35% cheaper.
