Awful
Cons:

Air conditioning unit was blowing out warm air in our room and the only alternative given was a small fan.

It was unbearable to sleep in and we had to go outside within the night for fresh air.

From dire to would stay again...
Pros:

Large hotel but great facilities. Fantastic issue resolution when addressed by management. Understanding and empathic to issues. Felt heard.

Cons:

Evening meal in the bar was an endless step by step list of lack of common sense and silly issues with some staff who couldn't care less, thankfully some staff were great.
The hottest week in the UK since summer 1976 hit the hotel with a few issues that impacted our stay. All were manageable with a little common sense which was lacking.
I'm thankful that the manager was at the front desk while we were checking out. We chatted and he was disappointed that some of the hotel protocols were not followed the night before. The managers handling of the situation was a great example of effective issue resolution in the service sector. As a result, I'd stay again.

Would like to stay again but breakfast put us off.
Pros:

bedroom was lovely. Staff friendly. very clean.

Cons:

everything was perfect, room, staff etc. Breakfast was a different matter. No mugs, glasses, bowls, kept having to ask staff for more. Bread kept running out. The cooked breakfast looked lovely when it fianlly arrived, but the queue to wait for more sausages, eggs, bacon was awful. The food wasnt coming out quickly enough. They ran out of pastries. The young waiter was really embarrassed, apologising to us, saying there were more people there than usual. But the hotel should know how many people there are and cater accordingly. Pool lad, it wasnt his fault.

Our stay
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff,
Nice lay out of restaurants, bar and reception areas.

Cons:

It would of been nice, to have a bedside table, both sides of the double bed, instead of the bed being next to the wall.
