Beautiful property with excellent facilities
I liked the size of the family rooms and the location of the hotel
The sofabed bed in room 137. It's uncomfortable and outdated.
The duvet covers which were stored in the cupboard were not fresh.
The carpets in the hallway expecially when going downstairs is outdated and was smelt of damp.
All was very good. efficient staff throughout all areas of the hotel, good breakfast and great location as we enjoy quiet suburban locations. huge parking area
never disappoints
Clean, good staff and VFM
A bit dated
Like the EV charging stations - available easily and easy to use.
The bed could have been more comfortable - needed more support as rolled into the middle.
The staff were amazing and the food was really good
The room was decorated very old fashioned. The swimming pool was small and too warm.
Had to leave because there was no AC in the room and it was so hot
Lackadaisical staff who couldn't seem to care
Lovely setting
Beautiful location, lovely grounds near Sharrow Vale. It felt very safe and private. The hotel itself is fairly dated, but was ok for our needs, visiting family. The staff are lovely and very helpful.
The showers involve a step into the bath, which not everyone can comfortably manage. To be fair, the staff did try to help but there's only one accessible room in the entire place and it was booked. I think it would benefit from some updating.
The view of the lake from the seating area was very nice
View from our room was not good we were looking out to the carpark so had to have curtains closed as people could see in. I asked if we could upgrade but receptionist wasn't very helpful.
Location
No air con so it was boiling and the balcony looked very tired and dirty
Bar food...tasteless...salmon pale and probably microwaved.
Third time eating in the bar..due to location...it's the only option for eating..I don't have a car..
With this being the only option then I think the food should be exceptional....it seems that this is not good for customer relations.
cheryl in housekeeping
cleaner in reception
Saturday morning receptionist
Young breakfast staff
Staff very good and helpful
Excellent breakfast including great poached eggs made by chef
The leisure facilities were small and disappointing - Unclean did not see one member of staff down there
Breakfast manager not very welcoming
Not enough parking
Not worth £378 paid
Le petit-déjeuner était varié mais un peu cher. Dans l’ensemble, le personnel était serviable
The grounds are beautiful, there were paths around the lake and lovely views.
We were given an upgrade to a suite and that was a nice surprise.
The breakfast was really nice and the bed was comfortable.
The part of the hotel we were in was very peaceful.
The lady on reception was very welcoming.
The pool was quiet and clean
Nothing much to be honest. The light on the bathroom mirror didn’t work.
The bath was very slippery!
The decor is a little tired.
