The bedroom was big and the bed was so comfortable. We were both unwell and it enabled us to rest and recuperate.
Reception staff when we arrived and left were extremely helpful.

Our bedroom had flood lights right outside of our window. All evening left on and the room was so bright even with curtains closed. Did not sleep a wink. Do not stay in room 410.

The bedroom was suitable for our stay. The hotel is in a quiet location and the stay feels relaxing.
A maintenance point is that the shower screen didn't fit properly so every time you had a shower the bathroom flooded.
The swimming pool is so small its not really useable as a swimming pool!

Location was close to where I needed to be
It was noisy, uncomfortable and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying here. Soundproofing was non-existent so I could hear conversions in the restaurant and outside my door and all the excitement from the bar, which continued late into the night. The WiFi wasn't working (so I couldn't do work/access the internet at all as reception is poor. I couldn't contact the staff about the noise because the phones run on WiFi. The rooms haven't been updated in many decades (at least 2 as the decor hasn't changed since I last visited in the 2000s) and everything is tired and in need of a deep clean (the curtains and carpets feel and look mucky), the bathroom mirror was rusty, the sink (which had been "painted" to cover it's age) was peeling. The room was depressing and I couldn't wait to leave in the morning.
