A good basic place to stay in the heart of downtown.
Pros:

The hotel is in a very good, central location.

Cons:

This is a very basic hotel, but it’s clean and the staff are very nice and helpful. We paid a much higher rate due to FIFA which was disappointing.

Lovely, would do it again
Pros:

The staff was very helpful and friendly, we were staying one night to go on a cruise the next day. They held our lugguage, directed us to local attractions near by and restaurants etc.

Moda was ideally placed, pretty much in the centre of Downtown Vancouver

Cons:

Slightly tired in part, but updating would cost money & result in higher charges.

Excellent location. Comfortable room. Would come back.

The location was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite spacious.

Cons:

The building was very loud. We could hear the pipes during the night and it was quite loud. Of course, the property most likely isn’t able to do much about this but it is worth noting if you are a light sleeper. Similarly, the shower curtains could do with updating; ours was a bit dirty.

We had a fair stay at this hotel, great location was its best feature.
Pros:

Great location and staff

Cons:

No smart TV very old and a bit run down. Could do with a face lift. Lift is very slow. No control of the air conditioner and our toilet wasn’t working properly by the end of our week there.

Very helpful and friendly staff but actual rooms lets it down.
Pros:

Good central location. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Connected restaurant served really good breakfast.

Cons:

Old fashioned and not very nice room. Electric sockets not fully working and poor condition. Expensive. In comparison, later on in our holiday in Vancouver we got a whole suite in an exceptional hotel for the same price.
