Nice outdoor area in the evening for drinks
We had a problem with the room door lock, reception kept blaming us but it was obvious there was a fault. We couldn’t close the door and each time we told them at reception they would make a different excuse. Room was ok but dated with peeling paint. Nice pool but can’t be used by hotel guests in school term time 4-6pm which is annoying when you have a table booked for 6.30pm and you can’t check in till 3.

This is a fantastic hotel we have stayed here many times .We love visiting York but the hotel makes the holiday special. It is a lovely relaxing place to stay with top notch facilities. A beautiful breakfast option. Friendly and helpful staff and the hotel is spotlessly clean. We already have another 5 trips booked at the delta marriott it is that good.
The quietness at night and beds are fabulously comfortable would like to know where to purchase one haven't slept that well in years
