Its become very outdated and expensive for what you get, especially when you add $52 per night for parking. $37 per person for the buffet was expensive for average breakfast

Incorrect Beds from booking but nice and close to Concert Venue
Pros:

Location is perfect when attending events at Olympic Park. Room was clean and had free water which was a nice touch. Staff were very friebdly at check in and the express check out was convenient.

Cons:

Not being able to pre book parking was a risky move, we were travelling by our own vehicle from several hours away so were lucky we got a park in the hotel. Not sure what we would've done if there wasnt an available space.
Main issue was the room was booked for a Queen bed which was also confirmed when checking in. When we got to our room it was 2 single beds that were very uncomfortable. This was my husband and I first night away since having our baby so separate beds put a big dampener on the evening. As we didnt get into our room at 11 at night, it wasnt plausible to get the hotel to fix the situation. We also went to order room service and the time frame for a pepperoni pizza was almost 2 hours so we didnt bother.
The room itself was clean and had all the facilities we would've required if the bed was correct and more comfortable.

I was happy with the Ibis for its convenience to where my work conference was located and its ease of accessibility and
Pros:

Great Location, plenty of options for food and close to public transport.

Cons:

Bit outdated, carpet stained and very worn in the room. Torn blinds. Not bad but not good either.

The staff! the fact I asked for early check in and never got it even after asking 6-8 months in advance we also needed assistance with a pull out bed and never got it done so my daughter slept on the floor! We also had air conditioning issues.

Great location to sport centre, but needs upgrades… and put the ABC on the TV.
Pros:

Closeness to facility - excellent breakfast, fantastic staff.

Cons:

I couldn’t watch the ABC on the tv - the National Broadcaster in Australia that I pay my taxes to support and it wasn’t available, that’s just unheard of!!!
The only thing on the TV was foxtell only fools watch that rubbish.
I was on a single bed that when I tried to get out of it, it would fall over and I would end up on the floor. I have bruised knees from it. No real bin in the room.
Power points in the wrong places.
I had to boil the kettle of water over my kids bed holding it on a ledge because no power point was close enough to a ledge for the kettle. That’s so dodgy.
