Ocean View Hotel

Heidi was really sweet and explained everything to me in detail including the hotel processes, even gave me a thoughtful birthday gift! Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay near the beach.

Heidi the receptionist was very helpful and managed to get us checked in early rather than us just leaving our suitcases there. Great hotel with amazing views of the beach/ pier, very clean . Great location near to some lovely restaurants & bars , would highly recommend to stay here .

I love my room with Oceanview, I came in late and didn’t want to drive because I was drinking and lovely Porsha showed me how to order 711 from Uber Eats and even verified my ID. Hotel room was clean and staff was nice but Porsha was the best. I will be back to visit soon

Great location with modern, clean amenities, and very helpful staff. Heidi’s warm welcome at check-in set the tone for a wonderful stay.

Alex took care of our car and luggage upon arrival - was so helpful. Ashley on reception was so helpful and friendly as was Joy. Don’t appreciate the snotty email from Heidi. Hotel was well situated but beware as additional fees are shocking

Renovated to be modern, clean and comfortable. Close to everything Santa Monica has to offer. I would definitely recommend selecting a unit with balcony facing the pier when visiting and experiencing what SM has to offer.

I found this hotel at the last minute on my actual birthday and was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable rate for an ocean-view room. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional.

I pulled into the VIP valet area and was immediately greeted by the valet team, who were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. Their smiles and positive energy set the tone for a wonderful stay.

At check-in, Whitney made my birthday truly unforgettable. She was warm, energetic, and genuinely kind. When she learned it was my birthday, she sang “Happy Birthday” to me and then surprised me with a beautiful birthday card signed by her, along with a delicious assortment of chocolates presented in an elegant black Oceanview-branded box. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture.

Whitney also recommended a dinner spot that was absolutely phenomenal. When I returned to the hotel later that evening carrying my birthday flowers, she welcomed me back with another grand rendition of “Happy Birthday.” Not only was it incredibly sweet, but she can actually sing! It made me feel so special and celebrated.

The hotel itself was charming, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. What stood out most was the genuine hospitality and personal touches that made my birthday one to remember.

Thank you, Whitney, and the entire team for making my special day even more memorable. I will absolutely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service and a memorable experience.

We had an amazing stay! The hotel staff went above and beyond by leaving a birthday gift on the bed for me, which was such a thoughtful surprise. The location is perfect, with beautiful views of the beach and pier. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and featured a balcony where we could relax and enjoy the incredible scenery.

Ashley was especially amazing—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The valet team was also very respectful and professional throughout our stay. The lobby was spotless, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. Overall, the service, cleanliness, comfort, and location exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

My granddaughter and I spent 3 nights at The Ocean View. It is a gem! The location is directly across the street from the beach and within a few minutes walking to many restaurants and shops. The ocean view from the balcony of our room was beautiful. The room was quiet even though there is traffic on the street below.
The room was spotless; and the front desk staff were very attentive and friendly, greeting us each time we passed through the lobby.
Compared to other beach-front properties where I have stayed, I felt that Ocean View was reasonably priced.
The only negative for us was that we had to leave at the end of the trip.

Location was fantastic and close to the pier. Beach and ocean views were beautiful. Teresa and Eva at the front desk were absolutely incredible, very friendly and made our stay even better.
