Overly priced. Had to pay for parking. Breakfast was offered at an additional cost which compared to a free continental breakfast at another cheaper priced hotel.
Exceeded my expectations. Extremely comfortable bed and bedding. Suite felt modern and recently renovated. Staff were exceptional. Location is perfect. And so rare to find a hotel with a noon checkout time (I could actually enjoy breakfast!). Would highly recommend.
It's an older hotel so a few things are still to be upgraded (ie: elevator). Don't let that worry you as everything that matters is fantastic

The bed was good
Bathroom fan didn’t work. Noisy doors outside ours. Unsafe feeling around the outside. Parking garage smelled like urine. Cable didn’t work in the bedroom. Poor water pressure in shower. Uncomfortable shower stall; no shelves, no foot ledge, water on the floor outside. Towels too small. No store inside.
The location was amazing. Close to the U of A.
I've stayed here before they renovated. It was one of my favourite hotels. Unfortunately they lost the charm with the renovations. The window was broken in my room and would not close. I couldn't get the heat to work so it was a chill night. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. The beds were not comfortable at all. Breakfast was included previously and is an extra charge now. The pizza place that is attached to the hotel had a number of men passed out in the booths on a Sunday night. I wasn't expecting that for a higher end hotel.
Second visit. Usually stay at sister property down the street. From now on this will be my first choice

Thin walls between rooms.
Parking is off site and sketchy. I’ve stayed twice and never had an issue - just don’t leave anything in your car.
