Being able to leave with my life. It was so u safe literally crackhead zombies walking up to your car.
I genuinely do not know how this property is still accepting reservations.
I was in Charlotte for the Iron Maiden concert and wasn’t looking for anything fancy. I just needed a basic, reasonably clean room where I could safely leave my dog during the show and sleep afterward. I checked the reviews beforehand, they didn’t seem terrible, and I paid online.
When I arrived, I checked into Room 101 and also paid the $50 pet deposit. The second I walked into the room, it became obvious there was a serious problem.
Almost none of the electricity worked. Only one or two lamps would come on, and even those flickered. The refrigerator barely functioned, and when you opened it, the entire frame pulled away with it. The room was dirty and smelled like urine. The bathroom fan automatically came on with the light and sounded like you were trying to summon the devil.
I didn’t even feel comfortable leaving my dog there while I went to the concert.
I went back to the front desk and explained that the room was unacceptable and asked for my money back. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, the employee wanted to argue with me and demonstrate how to turn on a lamp, as if the issue was that I somehow didn’t understand how a light switch worked.
I know how to turn on a light bulb. That wasn’t the problem.
The problem was that I had paid for a functioning hotel room, and what I was given did not have reliable electricity and did not feel clean or safe.
The parking lot made the situation even worse. There were people wandering around visibly strung out and prostitution activity happening openly around the property. It honestly looked like a scene full of off-brand Eddie the Heads, except Eddie is significantly cooler and, presumably, not high or on meth.
Front desk clerk was friendly an water was hot an bed was comfortable!
Drug dealers an prostitutes all around motel , can't even walk to your car or outside without a person asking you to buy drugs!!!!!!, couldn't even pull into motel after going out without them blocking entrance an walking up to your car window I'll never be back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room smelled like mold, mold all around the bathtub, room dirty, I literally seen some people outside smoking a Crack stem in public like it was a cigarette.
Nothing
Everything
The receptionist was the only part of the experience I appreciated. He was swift, attentive, and addressed my concerns without hesitation
What I Didn’t Like
The property felt more like a lockdown facility than a hotel, with a Fort Knox vibe that immediately raised red flags. Outside, there were people openly getting high on the corner, and a shady crew posted up in the parking lot, creating an atmosphere that was unsafe before I even stepped inside.
Inside, the walls carried such a heavy, stale smoke odor that the COPD risk felt about 99.9%. This is not a family‑friendly environment — not for toddlers, not for kids, and definitely not for anyone with respiratory issues.
I didn’t feel safe. I was more worried about my property, my personal safety, or even the possibility of stepping on a needle than anything related to comfort.
When the receptionist asked why I didn’t want to stay, I explained clearly:
I have one child with asthma, and this environment was absolutely not appropriate for his health or safety. This wasn’t it.
Absolutely nothing
Ended up not even checking into this place. The environment around the motel was sketchy at best. Bums and what looked like drug deals going on in the parking lot and entrance
Everything
No nerve
Nothing
Everything, it was dirty, unkept, and the staff was horrible. I didn’t even stay a night. Not even sure if I’m getting a refund.
Great, coffee as well
The bathroom could have been a little more clean. I notice trash under the sink.
The property was close to where I needed to be.
The facilities are ragged and only very surface cleaned. There are absolutely no amenities. This place is still rolling out ‘Covid protocol’ as the reason for not having amenities such as continental breakfast or even an open lobby. The lobby was mostly locked because the amount of houseless and vagrants hanging around the property is insane. Panhandlers, houseless, working ladies…..crawling. This place is in a terrible location. The homeless have broken glass all over the parking lot that no one cleans up. My room didn’t even have a security latch on the door. The floors were dirty. The bed looked like it has been remade with used sheets. No hangers for use. No microwave. Heating unit was filthy. Never again.
Nothing
When we pulled in to the driveway we encountered a group of people blocking the entrance who were zombie people. They were junkies who were standing up while passed out. Approaching the building really didn’t make me feel any better. People were passed out in cars, and the property was run down. The staff was unpleasant, but nowhere near as bad as the smell in the rooms.
This place was so bad, that after the event we decided to drive home in the middle of the night rather than stay at this dump. As a parting gift, while exiting the premises a new group of people were in the driveway, one of which was laying unconscious in the road, with his pants down to his knees… and no, he was not wearing underwear.
The smell was horrible. I was shocked that this place received 4 stars. This is a -5 star crackhouse if I ever saw one.
Need a little bit more work
only could use one door
hey, I need to get microwaves in the room
