We booked 1 Suite and 6 Rooms for 8 adults and 6 children at Castle Green for a family celebration at relatively short notice after our booking at the excellently situated Premier Inn in Central Kendal made months ago became impossible due to Building Work, Noise, No Car Park, No Restaurant, No Bar - and No Price Reduction! OK, Castle Green is at a different price point but we are so pleased that we made the change
Wonderful staff, great location, well-kept grounds. Children loved the pool. Had Saturday lunch there and the Sunday BBQ with games too

The food was excellent, our suite was big with lots of open space clean and tidy 10 out of 10.

It was quiet.
Bar was quick, efficient and friendly Jay is a great barman.
Swimming pool was great and steam room an unexpected bonus.
A good breakfast, every item tasted good.

The hotel is in a fabulous location not far from town centre. Plenty of parking.
Check in and Check out was straight forward and easy.
The room was very clean and bright and comfortable.
All the staff from reception, bar and kitchen were just lovely and friendly. The staff in the Greenhouse restaurant was just lovely, the worked so hard.
Breakfast was delicious and super fresh. We had a meal in The Greenhouse which was beautiful and the service 1st class.
We used the spa and Green Rooms for treatments..the treatments were brilliant and relaxing. Romy and the team were amazing from communication from booking the treatments though to having the treatments.
We loved our time there

Paying £10 for parking as a guest at the hotel which had a huge carpark
The staff were professional, helpful,welcoming and friendly. Service was excellent. Dinner was very good and so was the breakfast. Our room was a kingsize and it was spacious and well thought out.The only thing that they could improve on would be flannels in the bathroom.

Spa wasn’t what I would call a spa and also when in bath in room the plug made an awful noise unless u kept it pushed down the whole time while sitting in there which wasn’t relaxing
Prima hotel op een mooie locatie. De faciliteiten en het personeel zijn top! Het ontbijt is goed. Als tip wil ik hier meegeven dat er los fruit zoals appels, bananen, sinaasappels etc. bij mag.
