Great location, close to the M6 if you are driving, or walking distance from the railway station. Great facilities with A/C in some rooms, comfy beds, and very quiet. It has only sauna not spa. Didn’t use the pool, nor the gym so can’t comment on that. Breakfast is really good, they bake their own pastries, good little bar too. Restaurant and pub are fine but nothing to write home about. Staff are friendly and polite.
Not great for people with difficulty of movement as there are steps everywhere, even when you are arriving from the car park. There is a lift but doesn’t take you to all the hotel rooms. Sauna is too small and there is no spa.

Went out for something to eat Sunday night at around 8.30 nowhere serving food, very disappointed.
The hotel's location was good in beautiful grounds All the staff were very helpful we asked for an upgrade all rooms were full however they had a cancellation and offered us the room it was brilliant nice large room and great views made our stay. It was also great to see a young man with Downs Syndrome working in the restaurant as my son has Downs Syndrome this was great to see
Breakfast on the first day was good however the last 3 days we found some of the food over cooked possibly in the hot trays too long so a bit disappointed
However we did order poach eggs they were very good.
Everything was great. The staff were polite, welcoming and kind. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner very good. The pool enjoyable.
Air conditioning would have been good in the circs. More info about gym classes, prices, availability at time of booking if poss.

Staff were great. Car parking was at a cost per day 10£ which seemed unreasonable. We were advised if you did not book through booking.com we would have had to pay.
A bit of a way out of town
The hotel is very comfortable and located in a beautiful, quiet area. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Sarah, who was exceptionally kind and professional. I highly recommend this hotel, and this definitely won’t be my last stay. I will be coming back again.
