Pesadilla en el Hotel Jeronimos 8

Ubicación y atención del personal

Cons:

Los 2 días que me alojé en el Hotel Jeronimos 8 NO tuve aire acondicionado en la habitación. El calor era agobiante y no se podía dormir. La solución que me dió el Hotel era que abriera las ventanas, lo hice y se me llenó de mosquitos la habitación.
Las habitaciones son pequeñas e incómodas. La ducha del baño se inundaba cuando uno se duchaba, lo mismo en el lavatorio.
Para mi no tiene las comodidades de un Hotel 4 estrellas.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, JUST AVOID IT
Pros:

I paid money and got the room to sleep in. That's all good that I can say about this hotel, unfortunately.

Cons:

I highly DO NOT recommend this hotel for booking.


Within several minutes after my sister and I checked into the room, someone from hotel stuff entered the room WITHOUT knocking and then without saying anything walked away. When I went to corridor, the woman in hotel uniform came back to me and told that if I want nobody to enter my room i should keep DND on the door. She did not agree that this should not be applicable when GUEST IS IN THE ROOM. This literally happened within 10 minutes, after I checked to the room, just reminding.

When I went to the lobby and described this situation, guys at reception told me that per hotel policies this should not have happened. Per their policies stuff should have knocked. But they did not knock.

The hotel claims the room have AC. We were visiting when it was +36 (celsius) outside and the AC was not working. Again, at reception they admitted that it just does not work.

Safe was present in the room description, it was present in the room itself... but it WAS BROKEN.

So basically, I ended up being in the hotel where anyone from stuff can walk in whenever they want without knocking and you do not have place to secure your belongings.

The towels in shower were "kinda" clean but they had black stains on them.

Given there was a LIST of issues specifically in my room, I asked to change the room. My request to change the room was declined. With all those issues their best suggestion was to "change the room next day" even though I mentioned several times that by that time I will already check out.

To sum up:
My room had lots of issues and security concerns. I reached out to hotel stuff to get those resolved. Hotel stuff did not provide any reasonable solution.

I am not coming back to this hotel. I highly DO NOT recommend this hotel for booking. It was a total waste of 200euro.

Extremely nice front desk staff and very close to attractions and tourist buses and trams! Amazing breakfast!

Airco deed het niet. Maar we hebben meteen andere kamer gekregen aan de achterkant van het hotel. Daar scheen de zon niet op het gebouw. Ook grote ventilator op de kamer.

Pros:

Localização fantástica. Em geral todo o staff super super atencioso e simpático. O pequeno almoço é bem completo, surpresa de não ter de ir para a fila dos pasteis de Belém, pois apareceram no buffet acabadinhos de sair, de realçar o open space da sala de pequeno almoço enquanto estamos a tomar o café temos vistas sobre os Jerónimos.

Cons:

Considero substituir as banheiras num futuro próximo, são muito altas.

Pros:

O pequeno-almoço era ótimo, com um bocadinho de tudo.
Os funcionários do hotel eram muito simpáticos e prestáveis.
O hotel está muito bem situado e serviu-nos muito bem durante toda a nossa estadia.
