Luxurious atmosphere with good rooms and food, particularly with the staff, Lisa

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from 7 weeks in Europe. Everything here was excellent, from the initial check-in to the spacious room and comfortable bed, to the lovley temprature pool in a nice quiet garden setting. We had a wonderful aromatherapy massage with Diani who was a lovley lady and a very good therapist, making sure the treatment was firm enough and that we were comfortable during the treatment. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant, and are now ready to make our way back home feeling refreshed and recharged.

Had a wonderful check-in experience at The Dharmawangsa. From the moment I arrived until the entire process was completed, everything went very smoothly. Lisa was incredibly helpful and welcoming — she assisted with an early check-in and also offered a special upgrade option, which was greatly appreciated.

The whole experience felt very personalized, warm, and thoughtful. Truly thankful for the excellent hospitality. Looking forward to staying here again.

Our first stay as a husband and wife, choosing the Dharmawangsa as our hotel is one of our best decisions ever. So far best hospitality in my experience. Special thanks for the butler team for decorating our room, Mba Ranny for delivering our wedding cake, Mba lisa also making our stay very memorable by giving us a small lovely gift, and also all the other staff who are nice friendly and super helpful!!

Hotel atmosphere is very nice. Room is very comfortable. And the best things in a hotel is the pool.

Steavy are great and helpfull

There are hotels that offer luxury, and then there are hotels that seem to anticipate your every desire before it even forms as a thought. The Dharmawangsa Jakarta belongs firmly to the second, rarer category — and our stay there was nothing short of extraordinary.
From the very first morning, Mr. Ahmadi set the tone for what would become the defining quality of our entire visit: effortless, intuitive, deeply personal service. He had an almost uncanny ability to sense what we needed before we could ask. A cool towel after a walk through the garden, a preferred newspaper already placed, our evening preferences remembered without a single reminder — day after day, his presence was a quiet assurance that everything was taken care of. We never once had to reach for a phone or flag anyone down. He simply knew. That level of attentiveness is extraordinarily rare, and it transformed our stay from a hotel experience into something that felt genuinely like being cared for.
At reception, Mrs. Lisa was an absolute delight — warm, gracious, and deeply sympathetic in a way that made every interaction feel like a conversation with someone who truly wanted to help. Her composure and genuine kindness made arrivals and departures equally pleasant, and she handled every query with a smile that never felt rehearsed.
The hotel itself, of course, is stunning — its Javanese heritage architecture, lush grounds, and immaculate rooms speak for themselves. But it is the human warmth of the team that elevates The Dharmawangsa to a class of its own. We left not simply satisfied, but genuinely moved. This is what hospitality looks like at its finest.
