Enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay at The Dharmawangsa. The staff were extremely gracious and helpful. The hotel rooms were spacious and well maintained. We appreciated the displays of Indonesian culture throughout the property. Special thanks to the hospitality team of April, Fufu, Ari, and Arief for their kindness and for educating us about local food and beverages.

Very nice experience, delicious foods and dessert. Special thanks to all the super friendly restaurant services teams, Ahmadi greeted us every day with very good services.

Excellent hotel. It embraces an Indonesian cultural theme and offers a warm, home like atmosphere while maintaining a high level of privacy. I highly recommend it to guests who want to enjoy a stay that feels just like home.
Most importantly, the service provided by the hotel staff is truly exceptional, especially Butler Arib. He was always smiling, and ready to help when I was confused about the location of a wedding event. He kindly guided me to the venue and made sure I found my way. I also greatly appreciated Arib kindness when I saw him giving a chocolate cake to a young child in the hotel lounge. His thoughtful gesture reflected the genuine hospitality and care that make this hotel so special.

First of all, my husband and I, we love the Dharmawangsa Jakarta. We always stay in this hotel for a long period of stay every time we visit our family in Jakarta. Our stay in this hotel at minimum is a three-week stay. We gave a 5-rating for this hotel in our previous TripAdvisor review.
I did a solo trip this time in February 2026 and after long hours flights from the U.S, I felt like I needed a very good and authentic Indonesian massage.

I chose the option to have in-room massage and there where I met Ibu (Indonesian to call a Mrs) Diani, the masseuse from the Bimasena Spa at the Dharmawangsa Jakarta.
She is a super nice lady, polite and very professional. She prepared everything efficiently and I could tell from the very beginning of the massage that she is a very skillful and an experienced masseuse! I was originally from Indonesia and always loved good strong Indonesian massage and she really delivered it by using a real proven technique. Of course, If you like it less strong, she could also do it for you as she would ask if you like it strong and less. She wanted to make sure you would feel comfortable and enjoy the massage.
I did really enjoyed her massage and I felt super relaxed afterwards. That massage really helped me to get a very good sleep that evening and got through my jet lag quickier. I learned from Ibu Diani that she's been in the spa business as a masseues for an over two-decade and she really enjoys working for the Dharmawangsa Jakarta for most of those decades.

If you happen to stay in the Dharmawangsa Jakarta and need a really good Indonesian massage, I highly recommend Ibu Diani!

Joyful experience staying at The Dharmawangsa, superb service, premium feel, no disappointment at all

On 31 mei 2026 me and my husband visit our friend that stay at The Dharmawangsa hotel. After a few hour talking with my friends, My husband realized that he forget where he put his sunglasses. Im trying to find in lobby when im still on search for sunglasses the staff with white suit name Firli approach and help me. He try to found out the last time my husband use the sunglasses. And after a few minute i just realize that the sunglasses maybe lost in the grab on my way to Dharmawangsa hotel.Firli help me to search the plate number of the grab and try to contact Grab. (Because we using International phone number that cant be reach) . After a few hours.the grab car return and give back my husband sunglasses. Im really happy and thrilled with the service that Firli give for us. Even we are not staying at Dharmawangsa but Firli help us with care. Im definitely Will choose this hotel when we back to jakarta next year and i Will recommend this hotel to my friends. Thank you so much Dharmawangsa.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from 7 weeks in Europe. Everything here was excellent, from the initial check-in to the spacious room and comfortable bed, to the lovley temprature pool in a nice quiet garden setting. We had a wonderful aromatherapy massage with Diani who was a lovley lady and a very good therapist, making sure the treatment was firm enough and that we were comfortable during the treatment. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant, and are now ready to make our way back home feeling refreshed and recharged.

Had a wonderful check-in experience at The Dharmawangsa. From the moment I arrived until the entire process was completed, everything went very smoothly. Lisa was incredibly helpful and welcoming — she assisted with an early check-in and also offered a special upgrade option, which was greatly appreciated.

The whole experience felt very personalized, warm, and thoughtful. Truly thankful for the excellent hospitality. Looking forward to staying here again.

Our first stay as a husband and wife, choosing the Dharmawangsa as our hotel is one of our best decisions ever. So far best hospitality in my experience. Special thanks for the butler team for decorating our room, Mba Ranny for delivering our wedding cake, Mba lisa also making our stay very memorable by giving us a small lovely gift, and also all the other staff who are nice friendly and super helpful!!
