Room was very nicely furnished and modern, as was the rest of the hotel, especially compared to a lot of the more traditional and dated hotels in Capri. The service was excellent, even before we arrived. The bed was very comfy and views beautiful. Layout of the room was perfect , including a lovely balcony
The breakfast options was very sweet, and focused on cakes, croissants and jams. A more savory hot breakfast included in the price of bed and breakfast would have been much more preferential.

Wonderful hotel located in a convenient central location, with attentive staff willing to provide recommendations and make further reservations on request. We arrived to a staff member ready to collect our bags (for a fee). Fabrizio in particular stood out to us as exceptional staff member and was incredibly helpful during our stay, alongside the other staff members. We relaxed on the sun loungers with a view shortly after arriving, there were plush ones around the pool as well. We eventually had a drink at the hotel bar on our last night, cannot comment on that food as we didn’t have any. The breakfast was great and if you wanted to order something additional you could for a fee. Overall, this helped to make Capri our favourite place in our 10 day stay (in various locations) along the Amalfi coast.

Die Lage vom Hotel La Residenza ist super und ruhig gelegen. Zentral in Capri, und doch nicht Mitten im Trubel. Unser Zimmer war sehr gross und sauber. Das Personal durchwegs freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Jederzeit wieder La Residenza. Es ist zwar teuer - doch Capri ist allgemein eine teure Insel.
Was uns etwas gestört hat ist der teure Kofferservice vom Hafen hoch zum Hotel. Der Transport pro Koffer kostete stolze € 18.-- (wir wurden aber vorgängig darauf hingewiesen) Wegen der Bemerkung, die Koffer sei zu gross zum Transportieren mit dem Schrägaufzug liessen wir uns darauf ein. Bei der Rückreise gingen wir dann mit dem Schräglift. Der Koffer wurde kosten- und kommentarlos transportiert ;-)

Personal ist top
La Residenza turned out to be the perfect place to base ourselves for our weeklong babymoon. Compared to other more high end hotels just a stone throw away this is an incredible location being at the centre of town but still away from the throngs of tourists. They also were incredibly helpful with organizing memorable experience and booking delicious restaurants. Restaurant reviews rarely gave you a good sense of the ‘good places’ to go to - instead the staff was able to recommend delicious places we wouldn’t have found by ourselves. Only downside was there is no gym and the team won’t really recommend restaurants/bars at other hotels - definitely check out the bar at Punta Tragara and restaurants Casa Tua at Hotel La Palma and Casa Paolino! Other than that it was phenomenal.
The hotel is situated in a very peaceful part of island but is a 2 minute walk to the main shopping area. Very clean rooms and delightful friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us.
The hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room was very spacious, and the mattresses were top quality—extremely comfortable. I also really appreciated the blinds in the room, which block out all the light, so you can sleep peacefully without any disturbance.
The location is excellent—very close to everything and right in the city center.
I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely return with pleasure!

The room is comfortable & with the sea view, incredibly gorgeous on a sunny day. Little noise & bed is great. This is our second time staying with them.
The socket in the bathroom for hairdryer is very old. I couldn’t even plug it in.
