We arrived at 5pm, and my room was not ready till 6pm. Check in was supposed to be 3pm. When we complained, they said to complain to booking.com because we booked through it. Whilst the staff were polite, they did not resolve our issues.
The room was hastily cleaned, bedding looks old and yellowish, pillows were lumpy.
They then rang our doorbell at 11pm to offer fruit baskets as apologies when we were already in bed!

The landscape was pretty and the room is quite big.

Cons:

The check-in process was too slow. Check-in was at 3pm, but we were told that the room was not ready. The receptionist did not provide an estimated waiting time and only told us to wait another 30 minutes after we asked. The attitude was also not very welcoming or professional. We checked again at 3.30pm and the room was still not ready. I appreciate the managers taking the initiative to resolve the issue. However, the room only had toiletries and water for 2 people, despite my booking being for 4. We had to keep calling reception to request the additional items, and the receptionist was not very responsive.
The room was also quite far from the swimming pool and other facilities. Overall, it was not a pleasant stay despite spending quite a lot.
