The rooms & bathrooms are very basic. No hint of luxury.
I stayed here from 21st to 24th May 2026 with my family. This resort is like a poor 3 star and does not follow TAJ standards of excellence. 1. F&B: The management here does not re-fill the dishes. I had to read the name tags in front empty vessels and ask the manager for portions. The waiting time for each request is ~ 20 min. The taste of the dishes is average and there is no wow factor here. The hotel provides lunch “mini-buffet” but the price is as much as a Mumbai 4 star restaurant. The food spread is miserly and not worth the price. 2.House-keeping: Staff regularly missed providing a complete replacement of fresh towels. When we raised this issue we got responses such as “The towels are in washing machine”. “My shift is over so I will tell the next person”. The hotel replenishes the bar soaps but does not replenish the liquid bath and shampoo. The response I got was “It’s out of stock”.3 Lift facilities: The lobby looks like shady (due to renovation) and guests have to use a service lift. This lift accommodates ~ 4 people and is so slow that you tend to lose ~ 30 min a day. 4.Entertainment: OTT channels only available in suites. Else you get Tata Sky. 5.Meet and Greet: The famed Taj service is completely lacking. The most shocking part is that my wife had a sling in her right arm. NO STAFF offered to help during the dinner buffet. 6. Reception: The staff always seem busy and rarely acknowledge the guests. NOT ONE person asked me how my stay was during the 4 days. Not even during check-out. The bill provided to me during check out was 3 pages long and looked very complicated. I mentally did the math since the bill looked confusing. After checking out I had a doubt whether the 10% discount on food and beverage was provided. I have been following up as we speak without an appropriate answer. 7.Lack of bathroom facilities near swimming pool and resturant leads to frustration.

nothing really. its all good. just some work was happening so hammering noise during the day.
Would like to thank the team - housekeeping team led by Narayan and the front desk team comprising of Chinmay, Renuka, Alvina, Shehnaz and Sayali! All made the trip worthwhile and great hospitaility!
