Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel.

The rooms are outdated, and the heating did not work, making the room uncomfortably cold. The bathroom had mold. The food is overpriced for the quality. I ordered my steak medium, but it arrived raw in the middle—not rare, but genuinely undercooked. The cocktails were also disappointing, with very little alcohol despite their price.

The biggest disappointment, however, was the reception staff. Throughout my trip in Brazil, I met warm, friendly, and helpful people everywhere I went. Unfortunately, this hotel was the complete opposite. The reception staff were the least friendly, least helpful, and most uninterested hotel staff I encountered during my trip, and among the worst I have experienced in general.

As this was my final stop before leaving Brazil, it left a very bitter impression and unfortunately spoiled what had otherwise been an amazing trip. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to others.

Pros:

The staff at the hotel were exceptional. Both professional, polite and always with a smile! they could not do enough to help. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and immediately given an upgrade. The pool and pool bar were fantastic and run some lovely waiters.

πολύ ωραίο ξενοδοχείο, με αρκετά καλή τοποθεσία και γύρω γύρω αγορά. το πρωινό πολυ πλουσιο και το προσωπικο αψογο. το συστηνω για τισ διακοπες στο Ριο εαν θελετε βεβαια Copacabana. η ωραια παραλία στο Ριο ειναi η Ipanema. πας με τα πόδια γιατι το ξενοδοχειο βρίσκεται στο τέλος της παραλίας.

Muy amables todos, el lugar es muy limpio y agradable. La terraza tiene buenas vistas, una piscina y un bar. Es silencioso y habitaciones grandes y comodas. Buen baño y camas confortables.

Cons:

Si bien el hotel contaba con bar, restaurante y servicios de comida, la oferta sin gluten era muy limitada. En la práctica, las opciones aptas para celíacos se reducían a pollo con verduras al vapor, con una presentación y variedad más cercana a una comida de hospital que a una experiencia gastronómica de hotel.

El restaurante italiano tampoco contaba con alternativas realmente aptas para personas celíacas, lo que limitó aún más las posibilidades durante la estadía. Creo que, si mejoraran la carta e incorporaran opciones sin gluten más variadas, seguras y atractivas, sería mucho más agradable volver.

Otro punto a mejorar son las habitaciones, especialmente las televisiones. Son muy antiguas y no permiten conectar dispositivos propios ni acceder fácilmente a contenidos mediante wifi o aplicaciones. En ese aspecto se nota bastante la antigüedad del hotel y creo que necesita una actualización urgente para estar a la altura de la experiencia que promete.

Perfect stay in Rio
Pros:

The hotel has the perfect location in Copacabana right by the beach with easy access to Ipanema as well. The staff was incredibly helpful, helping us get breakfast before our marathon at 3am and went out of their way to make our stay nice. I highly recommend

Nothing to criticise except that the cost of coffee capsules in the room are quite high
